There is no single definitive ranking of the highest-grossing music tours of 2024: Billboard’s year-end Boxscore eligibility window ran from October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024, while Pollstar published a separate worldwide year-end chart using its own reporting and estimates. The figures below are selected reported placements, not a complete all-genre top ten, and Pollstar’s headline figure for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is its cumulative gross across the tour’s full run—not its 2024 gross.
How to read the 2024 tour-gross figures
“2024” depends on the chart being cited. Billboard’s year-end Boxscore figures cover eligible concerts reported for October 1, 2023–September 30, 2024, rather than every show from January through December. The figures are based on reported box-office data, not a claim that every concert worldwide was counted. Billboard’s year-end Boxscore coverage describes the chart period.

Pollstar’s 2024 year-end worldwide chart is a separate measure. The Associated Press says Pollstar’s estimates draw on box-office reports, venue-capacity estimates, historical venue ticket-sales data and other research; they should be treated as estimates, not audited accounting. The Associated Press’s December 2024 report describes the methodology and cumulative tour figures.
A tour’s gross is not the same as an artist’s profit, take-home pay or ticket revenue after expenses. It also does not by itself indicate how many people attended or how many performances generated the total.

Selected Billboard 2024 placements and reported grosses
Billboard’s K-pop subset provides four comparable examples. Soompi reported the following figures from Billboard’s year-end charts; the same report gives each act’s placement in the overall all-genre top 100. These are reported grosses for the chart’s eligibility period, not a complete calendar-year global accounting. Soompi’s account of Billboard’s K-pop tour chart supplies the genre rankings and figures.
| Artist | Billboard K-pop rank | All-genre top 100 rank | Reported gross | Tickets sold | Shows |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SEVENTEEN | No. 1 | No. 31 | $98.4 million | 865,000 | 24 |
| ENHYPEN | No. 2 | No. 50 | $63 million | 407,000 | 36 |
| TXT | No. 3 | No. 52 | $58.1 million | 453,000 | 26 |
| ATEEZ | No. 4 | No. 83 | $37.6 million | 192,000 | 13 |
Attendance and show count add context to gross but are different measures. For instance, ENHYPEN’s reported total covers more shows than SEVENTEEN’s, while SEVENTEEN’s reported gross and ticket count are higher. These figures do not establish ticket prices, costs or profit.

Other reported high-grossing tours
Yahoo Entertainment’s secondary report of Billboard’s Latin tour list put Luis Miguel at $290.4 million across 128 shows and Bad Bunny at $211.4 million across 49 concerts; both were reported in the overall top ten. These numbers are attributed to that secondary account, rather than presented as figures independently verified against Billboard’s primary chart. Yahoo Entertainment’s report gives the figures and attribution.
The Luis Miguel and Bad Bunny figures should not be ranked directly against the four K-pop entries above without the underlying chart definitions and consistent period, scope and reporting basis. A genre list, a full-year worldwide chart and a publisher’s eligible-show chart do not necessarily count the same performances.

Why Taylor Swift’s $2.2 billion is not a 2024-only gross
Pollstar’s year-end release stated The Eras Tour’s total gross across its full 149-show run as $2,201,107,485. That is a cumulative tour figure, not the amount earned during 2024 or within Billboard’s October 2023–September 2024 tracking window. The Associated Press rounded Pollstar’s estimate to about $2.2 billion. Pollstar’s year-end announcement states the full-run total.
The Associated Press also reported Pollstar’s estimate for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour at $1.14 billion at that time in December 2024. That, too, was a cumulative tour estimate—not a 2024-only gross. The AP report provides the contemporaneous figure.

What counts as a fair comparison?
Before comparing two tour totals, check that they cover the same dates, geography and kinds of performances, and that both are either reported box-office figures or estimates. Then keep gross, attendance and show count distinct: a larger gross does not necessarily mean more attendees, more shows or higher artist earnings.
- Chart period: Billboard’s cited year-end eligibility period is October 1, 2023–September 30, 2024, not the calendar year.
- Chart scope: an all-genre placement and a genre-specific rank answer different questions.
- Data basis: Billboard-related figures here are reported grosses; Pollstar’s figures are estimates.
- Tour span: cumulative totals for tours spanning multiple years cannot be treated as a single-year gross.
The sources available for these figures do not establish every rank and gross in a complete Billboard or Pollstar all-genre list. Accordingly, this is a selection of attributed results rather than a full ranking.
