What Allegiant’s fare bundles offer
Allegiant describes bundles as “packages of popular services frequently purchased together by other passengers like yourself.” The airline also lets customers choose individual services with its Basic package rather than buying a bundle. Do not assume that Basic, Bonus and Total have identical, universal checklists of benefits. Review the named inclusions and terms beside each option for the exact itinerary and passenger count before paying.
How to decide whether a bundle is worth it
Compare the bundle’s added price with the a la carte cost of the services you expect to use. Make the comparison using the prices displayed for your itinerary and each passenger, not a general estimate.

- Check what is included. Read the booking display for each bundle and note the specific services and any conditions.
- List only the extras you need. Consider baggage, seat selection and any flexibility benefit. An included item you would not otherwise buy may not add meaningful value to you.
- Compare the actual cost. Add the relevant individual-service prices and compare that total with the bundle’s incremental price. Pay attention to whether charges apply per person or per flight segment.
- Account for restrictions. A bundle’s purchase and change rules can matter as much as its included services, particularly if your plans may change.
Allegiant advertises savings of up to $114 per passenger, but its footnote bases that example on a round trip from Las Vegas (LAS) to Knoxville (TYS), with Total on both segments. It is not a guaranteed or typical saving for other routes. Allegiant’s bundle page notes that inclusions vary.
Evaluate the extras you would actually use
Baggage
Include baggage in your comparison only if you expect to bring it. Allegiant’s packing guidance gives a 50 lb checked-bag limit and advises weighing bags before departure; its terms say additional charges may apply for heavier bags. Seat selection
If you do not buy a seat in advance, Allegiant assigns one at no charge. You can pay to choose a seat, but sitting together is not guaranteed. Compare the live seat choices and fees rather than assuming a bundle guarantees a particular seat or that your group will sit together. Allegiant’s seat options guidance.
TripFlex and flexibility
Allegiant’s booking guidance describes ordinary TripFlex as allowing a one-time change under certain conditions; the traveler is responsible for any fare difference. Separately, Allegiant says a Total Bundle with enhanced TripFlex may allow cancellation with a refund to the original form of payment. Know the purchase and change restrictions
Allegiant says bundles can be purchased only when the original booking is made. They are non-refundable and cannot be unbundled, and changing dates or cities may add charges for one or more bundle items. These limits make the bundle less attractive if you are unsure you will use its inclusions or may need to change plans. Before checkout, weigh that risk against the value of the services you expect to use.
