NVIDIA’s 9 2020 Americas Partner Award Winners—and What Each Did

NVIDIA’s 2020 Americas partner-award winners spanned consulting, AI systems, software, education, public-sector support, and distribution. Here is what CRN said each did—and what the historical list does not establish today.

The nine companies in this list were winners in NVIDIA’s 2020 Americas Partner Network awards, as reported by CRN on June 21, 2021. They were recognized for different kinds of work—from AI consulting and hardware integration to public-sector distribution—so the list is a historical set of award categories, not a current ranking of the “top” NVIDIA partners.

Who were the nine NVIDIA partner award winners?

CRN’s 2021 report named the following organizations as winners in NVIDIA’s 2020 Americas Partner Network awards. Their roles and customer groups differ, so the categories are best read as distinct forms of support for AI adoption rather than as comparable performance positions.

Organization 2020 award category Work described in CRN’s 2021 report
World Wide Technology (WWT) NVIDIA AI Solution Provider of the Year Supported adoption of NVIDIA AI and accelerated-computing solutions, including DGX systems, across industries.
Deloitte Global Consulting Partner of the Year Recognized for its AI consulting practice.
Lambda Labs Solution Integration Partner of the Year Described as providing GPU servers, workstations, and laptops for deep-learning applications.
Insight NVIDIA Enterprise Software Partner of the Year Recognized for expanding its virtual GPU business and pursuing strategic AI and virtualization initiatives.
Powerland Canada Partner of the Year Recognized for data-center adoption across industries, including media and entertainment.
WWT Public Sector Public Sector Partner of the Year Recognized for AI and accelerated-computing work with the U.S. federal government.
Cambridge Computer Higher Education Partner of the Year Recognized for GPU-accelerated servers and DGX solutions for higher-education institutions.
SFL Scientific Service Delivery Partner of the Year Recognized for AI consulting and development services.
Carahsoft Distribution Partner of the Year Recognized for distribution and marketing support in the public sector.

These names and descriptions come from CRN’s June 21, 2021 account. The award categories identify the contributions NVIDIA recognized for that cohort; they do not establish that every company performed the same kind of work or serves the same customers.

How the partners’ roles differ

The practical distinction is the kind of help an organization needs. A company planning an AI program may need advice on where AI fits, engineering and integration for compute infrastructure, software or virtualization expertise, or help buying and deploying systems. Public agencies and universities also have distinct procurement and workload needs.

  • Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4
  • Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure
  • A 2.5-slot design maximizes compatibility and cooling efficiency for superior performance in small chassis
  • Strategy and consulting: Deloitte was recognized for AI consulting, while SFL Scientific’s service-delivery award covered consulting and development.
  • Systems and integration: WWT’s award focused on AI and accelerated-computing adoption, including DGX systems; Lambda Labs was recognized for deep-learning hardware integration, and Cambridge Computer for GPU-accelerated servers and DGX solutions in higher education.
  • Software and virtualization: Insight’s award reflected its virtual GPU business and AI and virtualization initiatives.
  • Geography and customer segment: Powerland’s award was specific to Canada; WWT Public Sector’s work was with the U.S. federal government; Cambridge Computer’s category focused on higher education.
  • Procurement and channel reach: Carahsoft’s distribution award recognized public-sector distribution and marketing support.

Those distinctions are more useful than treating the nine as interchangeable vendors. The 2021 report describes Lambda Labs’ servers, workstations, and laptops as product categories; it does not recommend a particular model or establish what is currently available for purchase.

What the 2021 growth claims do—and do not—show

CRN attributed a partner-capability observation to Craig Weinstein, then vice president of NVIDIA’s Americas partner organization. He said: “What we’re seeing is there’s a direct correlation to the investments and the capabilities of the [partners] that help customers move quickly and the revenue returns and the gross margin returns that they’re seeing.” This is an attributed executive statement, not independently verified evidence that every partner earned a particular return.

The same report attributed a historical statistic to NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, who said on the company’s then-most-recent earnings call that more than 50 percent of NVIDIA’s data-center business came from enterprise customers in vertical industries such as health care, financial services, and retail. That is a figure reported by CRN in 2021, not a current measure; the cited report is the source for the attribution.

Weinstein also described NVIDIA’s recognition approach: “We help customers in industry solve their most important problems with AI, and due to that we want to recognize the partners that are helping those customers in those industries, so we’re going to continue to move more and more towards recognizing partners for their contributions to that going forward.” The statement explains the award program’s industry-oriented framing; it is not a comparative assessment of the nine organizations.

In the same 2021 article, Lambda senior product manager Tejas Mehrotra said customers had begun asking for both training and inference products, whereas earlier demand had leaned toward training. That was an interview observation at the time, not a current market survey.

Are these NVIDIA’s top partners today?

No current ranking follows from the 2020 awards. NVIDIA has since reported a later Americas partner-awards cohort, confirming that the nine names above belong to a historical awards cycle rather than establishing how these companies rank today. See NVIDIA’s current Partner Network for the program’s broader ecosystem and defined competencies, including compute and cloud roles. The current program page does not establish that any of the nine retain the same designation.

More recent NVIDIA announcements illustrate how the ecosystem has continued to develop, but they are not independent performance comparisons of these award winners. NVIDIA’s NVIDIA Cloud Partners documentation describes these providers as AI cloud providers offering infrastructure for production-scale modern AI workloads. In a May 2026 ecosystem post, NVIDIA named cloud providers, telecommunications companies, sovereign AI builders, and infrastructure providers, with examples from multiple regions and use cases.

Other announced activity provides context, not a refreshed ranking: NVIDIA and Dassault Systèmes announced an industrial AI partnership in February 2026 involving virtual-twin technologies and NVIDIA infrastructure, models, and software. NVIDIA and AWS announced an expanded collaboration in 2026, including additional GPU deployments planned for 2027–2028; those deployments were plans, not completed capacity. NVIDIA’s 2025 healthcare announcement described activity in genomics, drug discovery, and healthcare, with company claims about benefits that should be understood as forward-looking where applicable.

How to use the list when choosing a partner

Start with the work to be done, not the award label. The historical categories can help identify the kinds of expertise each organization was recognized for in 2020, but they cannot by themselves establish current capabilities, availability, price, or fit for a specific project.

  1. Define the support needed. Separate advisory work, AI development, GPU infrastructure, virtualization, procurement, distribution, and implementation into concrete requirements.
  2. Match the customer context. Consider whether your organization is a federal agency, university, Canadian business, or another industry customer; several awards were tied to a particular segment or geography.
  3. Verify present-day fit directly. Ask prospective providers about current NVIDIA competencies, relevant deployments, support responsibilities, and the exact hardware or services they can supply. The 2020 award record is not proof of a present designation or current product availability.
