Is CM Punjab Laptop Scheme registration open?
No. Phase-II application submission is closed as of 5 October 2026. Notices and search results showed different deadlines while applications were being accepted, so older dates should not be treated as evidence that registration is still open. Check the official Punjab laptop portal and your institution for any newly issued notice.
The National College of Business Administration & Economics Phase-II information page says the grievance period ran from 2 June through 6 June 2026. That was a past window for grievances, not an extension of application submission and not a new registration period.
Has the next registration date been announced?
No future date is established in the accessible official information checked for this update. The Punjab Higher Education Department has a Phase-II page, but its accessible text provides no application schedule or announcement of a subsequent round. Do not rely on an unverified date circulating online; wait for a new official portal or institution notice.

Who was eligible, and why rules need checking by phase
The Government of Punjab’s 2025 program overview describes eligibility for students with a Punjab domicile, including first- or second-semester BS students at public universities or colleges and first-professional students at public medical and dental institutions. It lists minimum Intermediate marks of 65% for public university or college applicants and 80% for public medical and dental applicants, and says students must not previously have received a laptop under a laptop scheme.
Those summary rules should not be combined with Phase-II institution guidance as if the requirements were identical. Phase-II guidance covers additional programs and institutions and gives different medical and DVM thresholds. For any future round, confirm the current notice against your exact:

- semester or professional year and academic session;
- Punjab domicile and marks requirements for your program; and
- prior receipt of a laptop under another scheme.
Use the current portal instructions or ask your campus focal person; do not assume a rule from the 2025 overview applies unchanged to a later phase.
What to do if a future round opens
Phase-II institution guidance advised applicants to enter CNIC or B-Form details accurately, choose the correct academic session, avoid duplicate submissions, and keep proof of submission. These are useful checks only if a new application window is officially announced; they do not reopen Phase-II.

- Check the Punjab laptop portal and your institution’s notice for an official application window and phase-specific eligibility rules.
- Confirm your program, institution, session, marks threshold, domicile, and prior-award status against that notice.
- Enter identity details carefully, submit only once, and save the confirmation or other proof of submission.
- If an application is rejected or details appear incorrect, follow the grievance dates and process stated in that round’s notice. The June 2026 grievance dates have passed.
What laptop does the scheme provide?
The Punjab government’s program overview says the scheme aims to distribute more than 110,000 laptops and describes the device class as Core i7, 13th generation, with SSD storage and high-speed RAM. The accessible overview does not specify a brand, exact model, RAM capacity, storage size, or display specification. The Higher Education Department has also described the first phase as distributing 13th-generation Core i7 laptops at a ceremony at UET Lahore. These descriptions do not establish a specific retail model.
The scheme is intended to provide laptops to selected eligible students. Buying a laptop is not a condition of applying or being selected; students who are ineligible or missed a closed round may choose to purchase their own device, but the available government description does not identify a particular product.

Start with the Punjab government laptop portal, then confirm any dates or eligibility details with your institution’s focal person. The Higher Education Department’s CM Punjab Laptop Program Phase-II page is also an official listing, but its accessible text does not provide a future registration date.
