Bell raised the price of one 75GB plan by $5 per month, while its $65 bring-your-own-phone option stayed the same. TELUS listed three 75GB plan prices depending on whether a customer brought their own phone, activated a new line or was already a customer. These are historical prices reported on July 31, 2024—not current offers.
What changed in Bell’s 75GB pricing?
MobileSyrup reported on July 31, 2024, that Bell’s $70-per-month 75GB option had increased by $5 to $75 per month. Bell’s separate $65-per-month bring-your-own-phone (BYOP) plan did not change. The report placed Bell’s price change between July 29 and July 31; it did not establish an exact effective date. MobileSyrup’s July 31, 2024 report
The increased plan retained the service terms described in the report:
- 75GB of 5G data at speeds up to 250Mbps, then unlimited data at speeds up to 256Kbps.
- Video streaming capped at 480p.
- Unlimited Canada-wide calling and international texting.
“Unlimited” after the 75GB allowance refers to continued, throttled data use—not continued use at the plan’s stated high-speed rate. MobileSyrup’s report on Bell’s plan terms and price change

How to compare the reported prices
The lowest listed price was not available to every customer. Compare the row matching your situation, and include autopay only if you would qualify for and use that discount. On the July 31, 2024 snapshot, TELUS’s BYOP price with autopay was $65 per month, while its existing-customer price with autopay was $75. Bell’s unchanged BYOP plan was also listed at $65 per month; the plan that rose to $75 was a different Bell option.
MobileSyrup also reported a separate TELUS talk-and-text plan increase from $35 to $40 per month, with the $35 price still available with autopay. That was a separate plan, not another 75GB offer. MobileSyrup, July 31, 2024
