Brooke Shields’ blue Calvin Klein jeans from her 1980 advertising campaign were announced for auction in 2024, with an estimate of over $50,000. That figure was the auction house’s estimate—not a confirmed sale price—and the available report does not establish whether the jeans sold.
Which jeans were being auctioned?
The lot was a pair of blue Calvin Klein jeans Shields wore in a 1980 Calvin Klein ad. Us Weekly described them as mid-rise with fitted legs. Shields was 15 when she modeled them for the ad, which drew controversy because she was underage.

Studio Auctions included the jeans in its announced sale, “From Bombshells to Blasters: An Auction You Can’t Refuse.”
What was the estimate, and what did it mean?
Us Weekly reported on August 5, 2024, that Studio Auctions estimated the jeans at over $50,000 and described their condition as “very good.” An estimate is an auction house’s valuation before a sale; it does not establish what a buyer ultimately paid.
