Binance announced Scroll (SCR) spot trading in October 2024, and its SCR/USDT page currently displays a spot market with a Monitoring Tag. Binance added SCR to its Watchlist on September 4, 2026, warning that Watchlist tokens carry significantly higher volatility and risk than other listed tokens and may be delisted. Whether you can trade SCR depends on current market status, your location, and account eligibility.
Is Scroll (SCR) listed on Binance?
Binance announced four SCR spot pairs—SCR/BTC, SCR/USDT, SCR/FDUSD and SCR/TRY—on October 18, 2024, with trading scheduled to open on October 22, 2024. Binance’s SCR/USDT market page currently presents the pair as a spot market and displays a Monitoring Tag. Pair availability and access can change, so check the SCR/USDT spot market directly before placing an order.
The 2024 listing notice applied a Seed Tag and required account verification. It also said spot trading eligibility could depend on country or region, and that its list of excluded locations could change. A historical listing announcement does not guarantee that the market is accessible to every Binance customer today.
What does Binance’s Watchlist status mean for SCR?
On September 4, 2026, Binance announced that SCR would be added to its Watchlist. Binance says: “Tokens on the Watchlist exhibit significantly higher levels of volatility and risk compared with other listed tokens.” The exchange says Watchlist assets are monitored and periodically assessed, and may be delisted.

Binance says its reviews can consider development activity, trading volume and liquidity, network and smart-contract stability and security, communication, tokenomics, and conduct. The Watchlist status is a material risk signal, not a forecast of SCR’s price or a guarantee of delisting. See Binance’s Watchlist announcement for its stated criteria.
How to check SCR trading access before you act
- Confirm the asset. SCR is the token symbol for Scroll. Binance describes Scroll as a bytecode-level compatible zkEVM Rollup. Its 2024 listing materials identify the Scroll Network contract as
0xd29687c813D741E2F938F4aC377128810E217b1b. Check the network as well as the token symbol, especially before transferring assets. - Open the live market. Visit Binance’s SCR/USDT market page and confirm that the pair is still shown as available, along with its current tag. Do not rely on old price, volume, or pair-status information.
- Check account and location eligibility. Review Binance’s current requirements for your account and jurisdiction. The 2024 notice required verification and warned that regional restrictions could change.
- Review the order and costs. Check the available order types and the fees shown by Binance for your account and transaction before submitting an order. The cited notices do not establish current fees.
- Verify the network for transfers. If depositing or withdrawing, confirm that Binance currently supports the intended network and that the sending and receiving addresses are compatible. The historical notices do not prove that every transfer route is available now.
What Binance announced about SCR supply
In its October 8, 2024 Launchpool announcement, Binance reported a total and maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 SCR, 55,000,000 SCR allocated to Launchpool rewards (5.5% of total supply), and an initial circulating-supply estimate of 190,000,000 SCR (19%). Spot trading is not the same as Binance’s other SCR products
Binance’s October 22, 2024 notice also announced SCR for Earn, Buy Crypto, Convert, Margin, Auto-Invest and Futures. Those dated announcements do not establish that every product remains available now, is available in every region, or has the same terms. Check the current Binance product page and applicable terms before using anything beyond spot trading.
These options also represent different product types and exposures. Spot trading involves buying or selling the asset itself; margin and futures introduce distinct, potentially leveraged exposure, while Convert and Earn have their own terms and risks. Binance’s notice documented launches and initial futures specifications, not current terms; it is not a basis for assuming present-day leverage limits or availability.
