How to look up SpaceX shares
- Search your brokerage or market-data service for SpaceX or SPCX.
- Check that the result identifies Space Exploration Technologies Corp. and the Nasdaq listing. Do not rely on the ticker alone: Nasdaq Trader noted that SPCX had previously been used for a different security, so older quotes or price history under that symbol may not relate to SpaceX. IPO figures are historical, not today’s quote
SpaceX’s Form 10-Q says it sold 638.9 million Class A shares at $135 per share in its June 2026 IPO and received $85.675 billion in net proceeds after commissions and offering costs. Those are historical offering figures, not a current share price, market capitalization, or investment return. The company’s IPO closing announcement separately reported approximately $85.7 billion in gross proceeds; gross and net proceeds are different measures.
An Associated Press report from the IPO period said SpaceX expected retail investors to participate through Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood, SoFi, and E*TRADE by Morgan Stanley. That historical expectation does not establish current SPCX availability at those firms in every country. Associated Press report on retail IPO participation
