Before their October 19, 2024 PFL fight, Forbes reported that Francis Ngannou was set to earn over $10 million for his PFL debut. Forbes also reported that Renan Ferreira was due at least $2 million under a minimum opponent-payout term. Those were pre-fight reports—not confirmed final purses or proof of take-home pay.
What were Ngannou and Ferreira reportedly paid?

The two figures are not equivalent kinds of evidence: Ngannou’s was an unnamed-source report of expected earnings, while Ferreira’s was an expected minimum based on a reported contract term. Neither establishes what either fighter ultimately received after the event.
Why other purse estimates differ
Sporty Salaries estimated $3 million guaranteed plus a potential $7 million for Ngannou, and $750,000 guaranteed plus a potential $750,000 for Ferreira. The site presents these as estimates and potential bonuses; the figures are not confirmed by the official PFL material reviewed. They differ from Forbes’ reports and should not be added to them, averaged with them, or treated as official payouts. Sporty Salaries
The sources reviewed do not provide a commission-confirmed final payout document for both fighters or confirm that any potential bonus was paid. As a result, the most supportable answer is what was reported before the fight, with that uncertainty kept attached to the figures.
