The Indian Army released Agniveer Common Entrance Examination (CEE) admit cards online in April 2023 for the 2023–24 recruitment cycle. General Duty admit cards were reported available from 5 to 8 April, with cards for other categories due from the evening of 11 April. Candidates accessed them through the official Join Indian Army website. This is historical information; it does not confirm that a 2023 admit card is still available.
When were the Agniveer admit cards released?
Contemporaneous reports dated 6 April 2023 said the release was being phased: General Duty cards were available from 5–8 April, while admit cards for the remaining categories were expected from the evening of 11 April. These specific availability dates were reported at the time; official releases separately confirmed online issuance and directed candidates to check the Army website and their registered email.
The online CEE for the 2023–24 cycle ran from 17 through 26 April 2023, according to the Ministry of Defence. The recruitment sequence began with the online CEE, followed by a recruitment rally for shortlisted candidates and medical screening.
How to download the 2023 admit card
- Go to the official Join Indian Army recruitment website. Do not enter credentials on unofficial pages claiming to provide a direct download.
- Open the admit-card link for the relevant recruitment and category.
- Sign in with the candidate’s roll number and the password received by SMS or email, as specified in the official 2023–24 recruitment notification.
- View and download the admit card. Save a copy, then print it in colour.
- Check the card for the examination venue, reporting time and any candidate-specific instructions.
For the 2023 notification, the official credential instruction is roll number plus the password sent by SMS or email. Some news reports described different login fields; candidates should rely on the official recruitment notification and the sign-in page rather than combine conflicting instructions.

What to take to the exam centre
The official notification instructed candidates to carry a colour printout of the admit card and an Aadhaar card. It also stated that entry gates opened 90 minutes before the scheduled examination time and closed 30 minutes before it. Follow the reporting time and other instructions printed on the individual admit card.
If you do not have a colour printer, an existing printer or a print shop can provide the required copy; buying a printer is not a condition of admission.
