The headline “Tesla now sells Cybertruck with 0% APR, the biggest discount ever” refers to a report published June 6, 2025—not proof of a financing offer available today. As of October 4, 2026, Tesla’s current U.S. offers page shows a promotional Cybertruck lease, not 0% APR financing. The “biggest discount ever” claim is also unverified: the available sources do not establish a complete history of Cybertruck prices and incentives.
Was Tesla’s Cybertruck 0% APR offer real?
A June 6, 2025 report by Neowin described Tesla offering interest-free financing to U.S. Cybertruck buyers. The report’s page could not be accessed to confirm the offer’s precise loan term, eligibility rules, order deadline, or delivery conditions. Its headline is therefore evidence of a reported offer at that time, not a reliable guide to terms now.

As of October 4, 2026, Tesla’s current offers page displays promotional lease terms for the Cybertruck Premium All-Wheel Drive; it does not confirm that the 2025 0% APR offer remains available. A lease and a financed purchase are different transactions: the lease has a mileage allowance and lease-specific fees, while an auto loan has an APR, term, and balance to repay.
What Cybertruck offer does Tesla show now?
Tesla’s U.S. offers page, accessed October 4, 2026, lists a promotional lease based on a Cybertruck Premium All-Wheel Drive with a starting purchase price of $87,235, including Order and Destination fees. The $87,235 figure is the starting purchase price used as the lease basis, not the total cost of leasing. Tesla says pricing is before incentives, estimated gas savings, taxes, and other fees, and is subject to change. Does “biggest discount ever” hold up?
That superlative is not established by the available evidence. The sources do not provide a complete historical comparison of Cybertruck transaction prices, incentives, and financing offers, so they cannot show that the June 2025 offer was the largest discount ever.

A September 2026 deals page from Car and Driver listed $12,000 cash back and APR offers ranging from 5.59% to 6.65%, with the displayed APR offers expiring September 30, 2026. Those APR offers had expired by October 4, 2026. The cash-back listing should also be confirmed with Tesla before relying on it; the dated comparison is not proof that the incentive remains available. How to compare Cybertruck financing and leasing
Compare offers for the same vehicle configuration and use the total amount you would pay—not a headline APR or rebate—to judge affordability. Confirm each offer directly with Tesla or the financing source before ordering.

- Confirm the transaction type. Determine whether the offer is a purchase loan, a cash incentive, or a lease; do not treat a lease promotion as 0% APR.
- Use a matching configuration and price. Compare the same Cybertruck version and account for confirmed incentives, taxes, and fees.
- For a loan, compare the full terms. Check APR, loan term, required down payment, eligibility, and total payments over the life of the loan.
- For a lease, check the usage limits and charges. Compare term, annual mileage, acquisition and other fees, and potential mileage-overage or wear charges.
- Verify timing and location. Check application, order, and delivery deadlines, state availability, and credit requirements for the specific offer.
- Keep tax benefits separate. Establish whether a benefit is a deduction, rebate, or point-of-sale reduction, and verify that you and the vehicle qualify.
A 0% APR loan can reduce interest without reducing the vehicle’s price. A cash incentive can lower the amount financed, while a lease has its own payment and end-of-term conditions. These are not interchangeable discounts; compare the total cost under the terms you can actually obtain.

Tesla says state and local vehicle incentives can change or end at any time, and advises buyers to confirm availability, eligibility, and redemption rules with the sponsoring entity. Its incentives page, accessed October 4, 2026, says the Inflation Reduction Act ended as of September 30, 2025.
