How much can Prime members save on gas?
The standard offer takes 10¢ off each gallon at eligible locations. From Oct. 2, 2026, through Jan. 29, 2027, Fuel Up Fridays adds another 10¢ for a total of 20¢ per gallon on one fuel purchase each Friday. The Friday promotion is limited to participating stations, so check the earnify app locator before you fill up. Amazon’s September 2026 announcement describes the current terms.
The eligible network includes more than 7,500 bp, Amoco, and participating ampm and Thorntons locations across the U.S. The offer is described for U.S. customers; availability in other countries is not established.
How to activate and redeem the discount
- Link your accounts: Create or use a free bp earnify account and link it to your Amazon account. Amazon says this is a one-time activation for the year-round offer.
- Find an eligible station: Open the earnify app and use its locator to check that your chosen bp, Amoco, ampm or Thorntons station participates.
- Redeem at the pump: Enter the phone number associated with your earnify account or use the linked payment method. Alternatively, use the app to select the station and pump.
Amazon lists Prime, Prime Access and Prime for Young Adults members as eligible for the offer. If you are unsure whether a station or transaction qualifies, check the earnify app before fueling.

Can two adults in one household use the savings?
Yes. Two adults sharing one Prime membership through Amazon Family can each make a separate fuel transaction and receive the savings, provided each adult has a separate earnify account and completes their own purchase. Amazon Prime Vice President Jamil Ghani said that “Two adults living in the same household can share one Prime membership at no additional cost with Amazon Family , enabling them to enjoy a broad range of benefits and offers, including fuel savings.” Amazon’s announcement explains the household arrangement.
What does Amazon’s nearly $70 annual estimate mean?
Amazon estimated nearly $70 in yearly savings when it introduced the fuel benefit in 2024. The company based the estimate on 675 gallons of annual fuel use and 21.5 miles per gallon for light-duty economy cars, using figures it attributed to the U.S. Department of Transportation. Amazon’s 2024 launch announcement cautioned that actual savings vary with fuel use and purchasing activity.

That figure is an estimate, not a guaranteed annual rebate. Your result depends on how many gallons you buy at participating stations, whether those stations are convenient for you, and how often your eligible fill-up falls on a Friday during the promotion.
