What NHB advertised in 2024
The National Housing Bank (NHB) notice covered 48 posts across nine roles. The vacancy count was provisional and could increase or decrease according to NHB’s requirements. The official notice reported this category breakdown:

The roles listed were General Manager (Project Finance), Assistant General Manager (Credit), Deputy Manager (Credit), Assistant Manager (Generalist), Chief Economist (on contract/deputation), Senior Project Finance Officer, Project Finance Officer, Protocol Officer (Delhi) and Application Developer. Application dates and current status
The 2024 application and fee-payment window ran from 29 June to 19 July 2024. NHB set 1 July 2024 as the eligibility cutoff date. Its advertisement instructed candidates to apply online through its website and did not accept another application mode; that instruction applied only during the 2024 window.

It lists the Assistant Manager (Generalist) online examination dated 31 August 2024, interview-related notices in November, a final result and waitlist on 5 December, and a score-card link on 26 December 2024. It also lists October 2024 results for Application Developer and Deputy Manager (Credit). Check that page for the official notices; the 2024 application window has closed.
Eligibility depended on the post
There was no single age or qualification rule for all 48 vacancies. The advertisement set different age limits, educational or professional qualifications, and post-qualification experience requirements by role, assessed against the 1 July 2024 cutoff. For example, it listed an age band of 21–30 for Assistant Manager and 23–32 for Application Developer; senior and contractual roles had their own criteria.
Applicants were responsible for providing supporting evidence, and NHB reserved the right to verify original documents. Anyone checking whether they qualified for a particular post should use that post’s eligibility section in the official advertisement PDF, rather than applying one role’s requirements to another.

The notice did not establish one common selection sequence for every vacancy. Several roles used shortlisting followed by interview, with NHB reserving the option of preliminary screening for interview shortlisting if application volume was high. For Deputy Manager, NHB also reserved the option of an online qualifying examination if it received a high number of applications.
