There is no verified public figure for Burnley owner Alan Pace’s personal net worth. Two websites publish conflicting, unsubstantiated estimates—£190 million and $270 million—so neither should be treated as a confirmed valuation. For context, Forbes estimated Aston Villa co-owner Nassef Sawiris’s wealth at $9.6 billion in its 2025 sports-team owners list. That is a useful scale comparison, not a definitive ranking of Premier League owners.
What is Alan Pace’s net worth?
It cannot be established confidently from the available public sources. Interesting Football lists Pace at £190 million in a ranking labeled 2025/2026, while Brands Owned By gives $270 million “as of November 2025.” Neither page explains a verifiable valuation method or cites a primary disclosure of Pace’s personal wealth. Treat both as estimates attributed to those sites, not audited figures or reliable measures of his current net worth: Interesting Football’s ranking and Brands Owned By’s estimate.
The figures should not be averaged or presented as if they establish a settled range. They use different currencies and dates, and their underlying methods are not demonstrated. A personal net-worth figure would also be different from the value of a company, a football club, or assets controlled by an ownership group.
How does Pace compare with the richest Premier League owners?
A useful dated comparison is Aston Villa co-owner Nassef Sawiris. Forbes’ 2025 World’s Richest Sports Team Owners list estimated his wealth at $9.6 billion, with list values as of March 7, 2025, as reported by Forbes Australia. That published estimate is far above the two online figures for Pace, but it does not establish Pace’s actual wealth or his precise position in a league-wide ranking.

The comparison is not like-for-like: Forbes published a dated estimate for Sawiris, while the Pace figures lack a disclosed, comparable methodology. Nor does the available evidence provide a complete set of Premier League owners valued on one consistent basis. CEO Today’s 2025–26 ownership guide lists ALK Capital (Alan Pace) for Burnley but does not give owner net-worth figures, noting the speculation and frequent revision such figures invite: CEO Today’s ownership guide.
Why Burnley’s finances do not tell you Pace’s personal wealth
Burnley’s accounts report the club’s financial performance, not the private balance sheet of its owner. For the year ended July 31, 2025, Burnley Football Club reported turnover of £71.7 million, down from £133.6 million in the prior year, a £59.0 million profit on disposal of player registrations, and a post-tax loss of £28.5 million. The club said it competed in the Championship and won promotion back to the Premier League that season. These figures describe the club and should not be read as Pace’s personal income, wealth, or available investment funds. See the Burnley financial statements.
Pace is a key owner, but not the only one
A 2025 ownership report by Norton Rose Fulbright describes a multi-entity structure. It identifies ALK Capital LLC and Velocity Sports Partners LLC as Burnley’s controlling companies and lists the ownership of the expected new Premier League member entity as follows:
| Holder | Reported share |
|---|---|
| Velocity Sports Limited, through Velocity Capital (UK) Holdings Ltd | 82.71% |
| Velocity Sports Partners LLC | 7.36% |
| Other shareholders | 9.93% |
The report says Velocity Sports Limited is owned by Velocity Sports Partners LLC and ALK Capital LLC, and names Alan Pace, Michael Smith, and Stuart Hunt as ALK Capital LLC’s ultimate beneficial owners. The figures are a snapshot from the 2025 report, not a claim that Pace owns Burnley outright. Read the Norton Rose Fulbright ownership report for the structure and its entities.

What makes owner-wealth comparisons difficult?
A headline figure can refer to very different things. Before comparing owners, check what is being valued and when:
- Person or entity: An individual’s personal net worth is not the same as family wealth, corporate wealth, or resources associated with a state-linked fund.
- Type of value: Net worth, assets under management, club enterprise value, and cash available to fund a club are distinct measures.
- Date and currency: Wealth estimates change over time, and exchange rates affect comparisons across currencies.
- Evidence: A primary disclosure or a dated, method-based rich list carries more weight than an online estimate without a documented method.
These differences are why a single owner figure cannot automatically establish who is “richest” across the league, or how much an owner can or will spend on a club.
