On November 24, 2025, Fido and Virgin Plus improved their Canadian bring-your-own-phone (BYOP) Black Friday offers after Koodo had changed its plans the previous week. Fido’s reported options were $40 per month for 50GB or $45 for 70GB; Virgin Plus offered 60GB for $40 or 80GB for $45. These were dated promotional prices, not evidence of plans available today.

MobileSyrup reported the updated BYOP offers on November 24, 2025. The figures below are monthly Canadian-dollar prices as reported at that time. The report does not settle taxes, other charges, or every eligibility condition.

How the offers compared with Koodo’s earlier changes
Coverage published on November 21, 2025, listed Koodo BYOP options at $40/month for 50GB, $50/month for 70GB, and $75/month for 100GB. That makes the $40/50GB offer a like-for-like price-and-data comparison with Fido’s reported $40/50GB option. Fido’s $45/70GB offer had a different price from Koodo’s reported $50/70GB offer, so those were not identical terms.

The November 21 figures were reported by iPhone in Canada. The available coverage does not establish that calling, texting, hotspot access, network generation, discounts, or eligibility matched across all three carriers.
Are these Black Friday prices still available?
No conclusion about current availability follows from the November 24 report. A December 3, 2025 comparison said the Black Friday and Cyber Monday offers were over. The prices and data allowances above should therefore be treated as historical promotional terms, not as a current quote or a guarantee that a carrier will honor them now. - Confirm the current monthly price and whether any discount depends on autopay or another condition.
- Check how long promotional pricing lasts and what the price becomes afterward; the cited November 24 report does not establish those terms.
- Compare the details that were not consistently reported for every offer, including network generation, calling and texting allowances, hotspot access, and eligibility.
- Ask whether taxes or other charges are additional. The November 24 coverage does not settle them.
