Whether Pandabuy is worth using today is unverified. Court materials describe it as an intermediary that helped shoppers buy goods from third-party Chinese marketplaces, while brand plaintiffs alleged that it facilitated counterfeit sales. Those allegations are not a final finding that every item or transaction was illegitimate. A January 2026 court order records a procedural step, not a verdict or proof that orders can currently be completed. Before risking money, verify each part of a transaction independently.
What Pandabuy does
A court order describes Pandabuy as an online platform that helped consumers find, consolidate, promote, purchase, warehouse, and ship goods from third-party Chinese marketplaces, including Taobao and 1688. That makes it an intermediary rather than a conventional retailer selling only goods from its own catalog. The description appears in King Spider LLC v. Panda (Hong Kong) Technology Co., Ltd..
Using an intermediary adds separate points of reliance: the marketplace seller must supply the item, the agent must handle the purchase and warehouse stages, and the parcel must be shipped to the buyer. A service description alone does not establish that any of those steps are working now.
What the legal record establishes—and what it does not
In King Spider LLC v. Panda (Hong Kong) Technology Co., Ltd., brand plaintiffs alleged that Pandabuy facilitated the purchase and distribution of counterfeit products. That is an allegation by litigants, not a final court finding that all goods routed through Pandabuy were counterfeit or that the entire service was fraudulent.

A court order dated January 16, 2026, stated that Pandabuy had not retained new counsel after prior counsel withdrew. It directed plaintiffs to file a motion for default judgment by February 6, 2026, and said that failure to file could lead to dismissal for failure to prosecute. The order records that procedural direction; it does not establish what happened after the deadline, whether judgment was entered, or whether Pandabuy can fulfill orders. See the January 16, 2026 court order.
Counterfeit-risk context is not a Pandabuy-specific rate
In testimony at a March 1, 2024 hearing of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission, Daniel Shapiro, then Red Points’ Senior Vice President for Brand Relationships and Strategic Partnerships, described domestic Chinese marketplaces and drop-shipping platforms as a route through which counterfeit goods could reach U.S. consumers. He wrote: “Bad actors also utilize Chinese marketplaces designed for domestic use, like Taobao, TMall, and 1688 to funnel counterfeit goods into the U.S. through third-party drop-shipping platforms like Pandabuy.” The hearing transcript attributes this statement to Shapiro.

Shapiro’s testimony also reported that 8.5% of infringements on Chinese sites in Red Points’ recorded data were associated with domestic Chinese marketplaces combined with drop-shipping services. That is Red Points’ 2024 dataset and a category-level figure—not a Pandabuy-specific rate, a share of Pandabuy orders, or a measure of current activity. The figure is in the testimony’s accompanying material.

- Fulfillment: Look for independently verifiable, recent evidence of successful purchase, warehouse intake, parcel creation, and delivery to your destination. Confirmation of one stage does not establish the next.
- Seller and authenticity: Identify the actual marketplace seller and assess whether the item’s authenticity can be established. Do not assume that an agent’s involvement verifies a product.
- Payment and recourse: Check the payment method’s dispute process, refund conditions, and practical ability to recover funds if the seller, intermediary, or shipment fails. The available sources do not establish what recourse Pandabuy currently offers.
- Import requirements: Check customs and import rules for your destination and the specific goods. Requirements and consequences vary by country and product.
- Loss tolerance: Consider whether you can afford to lose the payment or be left without the goods or effective support. If not, waiting or choosing a service with verifiable current fulfillment and recourse is the more cautious option.
Is Pandabuy still working?
The available records do not confirm whether a customer can now place an order and complete the full process from warehouse intake to international delivery. They also do not establish current account or payment functionality, warehouse operations, parcel creation, or a current fulfillment rate. So “still working” remains unresolved on the evidence cited here; a historical service description or a functioning account page would not, by itself, prove successful end-to-end delivery.
