Re:

The Beatles, Ranked by Reported Net Worth

Parade’s 2025 ranking puts Paul McCartney first, but its estimates mix individuals and estates and are not a standardized financial comparison.

Paul McCartney ranks highest on Parade’s 2025 list, with a reported estimate of $1.2 billion. The ranking then places John Lennon’s estate at $800 million, George Harrison’s estate at $400 million and Ringo Starr at $350 million. These are third-party estimates—not audited or personally disclosed balance sheets—and the list combines living musicians with the estates of two late Beatles.

How the Beatles rank by reported net worth

The figures below come from Parade’s November 26, 2025 ranking, which attributes the estimates to Celebrity Net Worth or Finance Monthly. They are presented from highest to lowest; the underlying sources do not establish that every figure uses the same valuation date or method.

Rank Person or estate valued Reported estimate Attribution and qualification
1 Paul McCartney $1.2 billion Parade attributes the estimate to Celebrity Net Worth; it is a third-party estimate.
2 John Lennon’s estate $800 million Parade attributes the estate estimate to Finance Monthly. It is not a statement of Lennon’s current personal wealth, and its basis is not shown to be comparable to the other figures.
3 George Harrison’s estate $400 million Parade attributes the estate estimate to Celebrity Net Worth. It is not Harrison’s current personal wealth.
4 Ringo Starr $350 million Parade attributes the estimate to Celebrity Net Worth; it is a third-party estimate.

What the ranking does—and does not—compare

“Net worth” does not refer to the same kind of subject in every row. McCartney and Starr are living individuals; Lennon and Harrison are represented by estate estimates. An estate’s estimated value is not the same thing as a deceased musician personally holding that amount today.

The figures also come from more than one estimator, and the published ranking does not provide a shared valuation date or transparent, common asset methodology. It does not establish whether touring income, publishing and catalog interests, royalties, other business assets or estate holdings were counted in consistent ways. Treat the list as a published ordering of estimates, not a standardized financial comparison.

Why another McCartney estimate is not a direct match

The Associated Press reported that the 2024 Sunday Times Rich List put Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell’s combined wealth at £1 billion, with £50 million attributed to Shevell. That is a dated couple-level figure in pounds sterling, not a direct confirmation of Parade’s $1.2 billion estimate for McCartney alone.

AP reported that the Rich List calculation showed their wealth increasing by £50 million from the previous year, citing McCartney’s 2023 Got Back tour, the rising value of his back catalogue and Beyoncé’s cover of The Beatles’ “Blackbird” on Cowboy Carter. This explanation belongs to that 2024 calculation; it does not establish how Parade’s separate estimate was assembled.

Who is the richest Beatle?

By Parade’s November 2025 estimates, Paul McCartney is listed first. That answers who ranks highest in that particular list; it does not prove the four figures were calculated on an equivalent basis or provide a verified current valuation for each Beatle and estate.
