Which lip stain does Billie Eilish use?
NewBeauty reported in December 2024 that Eilish used SACHEU Lip Liner Stay-N as the first step in her tour lip routine. She then applied Tower 28 One Liner in Work of Art and blotted her lips with a cotton round. The routine reportedly began with a quick wipe using a Q-tip. NewBeauty’s report said her routine video received “over four million likes in just 24 hours”; that is a figure reported at the time, not a current count.
Stay-N is a peel-off stain rather than a conventional pencil liner: you apply a layer, let it form a film, then peel the film away. SACHEU describes the product as long-wearing and smudge-proof; those are the brand’s claims, not a guarantee of how long it will last for every wearer.
Is it really $12?
$12 was the reported U.S. price in NewBeauty’s December 2024 coverage and Who What Wear’s June 2025 article. SACHEU’s official product page displayed $14 on October 4, 2026. What shade is associated with Billie?
Who What Wear reported in June 2025 that Eilish and Sofia Richie Grainge used nOOHde, which the publication described as rosy brown. Treat this as that article’s shade attribution, not as confirmation of a current endorsement or a guarantee that the color will look the same on different lips. SACHEU’s product page listed 16 shades when accessed on October 4, 2026.
How to apply SACHEU Stay-N
SACHEU’s instructions call for clean, dry lips and say not to apply balm or another product underneath the stain. The process takes several minutes of waiting for the film to set.

- Cleanse and exfoliate your lips, then wash and pat them dry.
- On bare lips, trace the lip line with the product. Keep the application neat if you want a defined edge.
- Wait 5–7 minutes for the film to dry.
- Peel off the film. SACHEU advises avoiding the product on chapped lips and suggests its Lip Elixir as a finishing product.
For the look described by NewBeauty, Eilish’s reported next steps were Tower 28 One Liner in Work of Art and a blot with a cotton round. That is the reported routine, not a required part of using Stay-N.
What to know about comfort and results
The brand says the formula is infused with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. In a personal review published January 28, 2026, Live That Glow’s Philippa Pearne reported difficulty getting a precise outline, said the shade looked darker than she expected, and described her lips as feeling dry afterward. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a controlled comparison or evidence of how the product will feel for everyone. Read the individual review for her account.
