CloudSEK announced on May 20, 2025, that it had raised $19 million across its Series A2 and B1 funding rounds. The cybersecurity software company said it will use the funding for product innovation, AI model development, platform integrations and international expansion. The total covers both rounds, not Series B1 alone.

Who participated in the funding?

CloudSEK named MassMutual Ventures, Inflexor Ventures, Prana Ventures and Tenacity Ventures among the participants, alongside strategic investor Commvault. The company also said earlier backers Meeran Family, StartupXSeed, Neon Fund and Exfinity Ventures continued their support. Neither CloudSEK’s announcement nor the independent coverage cited here identifies a lead investor.

CloudSEK’s May 20, 2025 announcement provides the round and investor details. SecurityWeek independently reported the funding and described the company’s monitoring focus.

What does CloudSEK’s platform do?

CloudSEK describes itself as a predictive cyber threat intelligence provider. It says its platform monitors organizations’ digital exposure for early risk signals such as leaked credentials, exposed APIs and compromised vendors, with the aim of identifying potential attack paths before they escalate. SecurityWeek describes coverage that includes the attack surface, supply chain, infrastructure, web applications, and mobile applications and devices.

These descriptions explain the company’s product positioning; they do not establish independently verified detection lead times or comparative performance. In the funding announcement, CEO Rahul Sasi characterized the approach as “predictive, not forensic.” That is CloudSEK’s stated distinction, not an independent assessment.

What does the funding say about the company’s plans?

CloudSEK said it plans to invest in continued product innovation, advance its AI models, build platform integrations and expand globally. The company described the financing as supporting its next phase of growth. Its company history later records the launch of Nexus in 2025, which CloudSEK describes as an AI-powered cybersecurity command center bringing threat intelligence and attack-surface insights together. That later product milestone is the company’s own description.

Which growth and customer figures did CloudSEK report?

The company’s announcement included several business and customer metrics. They are company-reported figures, not independently audited findings established by the cited coverage.

What the announcement does—and does not—establish

The announcement establishes that CloudSEK said it raised $19 million across Series A2 and B1, named participating investors, and set out intended uses for the proceeds. It offers company context and reported operating metrics, but does not independently validate customer totals, revenue growth, security outcomes or the platform’s claimed ability to flag threats weeks before an incident. The financing is a historical announcement; current product availability and company metrics can change.
