Popeyes announced five pickle-themed menu items on April 1, 2025: a glazed chicken sandwich, two kinds of wings, fried pickles and pickle lemonade. The launch was a limited-time offering, not evidence of a permanent menu change. Popeyes revisited the Pickle Menu in October 2025, but the available announcements do not establish whether any of the items are sold now.
What were Popeyes’ five new menu items?
The lineup put pickle flavor into several different formats, from a chicken sandwich to a drink. Popeyes’ April 1, 2025 announcement described the items as follows:
| Item | Format | How Popeyes described it |
|---|---|---|
| Pickle Glaze Sandwich | Chicken sandwich | Crispy, hand-battered chicken filet coated in pickle-flavored glaze, topped with thick-cut pickles and served on a toasted brioche bun. |
| Pickle Glaze Bone-In Wings | Bone-in wings | Signature bone-in wings tossed in a tangy pickle-flavored glaze. |
| Pickle Glaze Boneless Wings | Boneless wings | Hand-battered boneless wings coated in pickle-flavored glaze. |
| Fried Pickles | Side | Pickles battered in Popeyes’ signature seasoning, fried and served with creamy ranch dipping sauce. |
| Pickle Lemonade | Drink | Lemonade infused with real pickle juice, described by Popeyes as a sweet-and-savory drink. |
When were the items available?
Popeyes said the April 2025 launch was available at participating restaurants nationwide and through its website and app. “Participating” matters: a nationwide launch did not guarantee that every restaurant carried every item. Allrecipes reported that the original limited-time run was scheduled through May 5, 2025.
Popeyes published another Pickle Menu post on October 9, 2025, describing the menu as available in restaurants nationwide and on its app at that time. That later post shows the theme returned or remained available during a subsequent period in 2025; it does not establish availability in 2026. Check the current menu for your local restaurant before making a trip or placing an order.

What was the idea behind the Pickle Menu?
Popeyes framed the launch as a pickle-forward take on its Louisiana-style chicken lineup. Chef Amy Alarcon, then VP of Culinary at Popeyes, said the menu was designed to balance “crisp texture, vibrant acidity, and our world-famous Louisiana flavors.” The five items applied that theme in distinct ways: glaze on the chicken and wings, seasoned batter on fried pickles, and pickle juice in the lemonade.
The company said the idea began as a playful social tease before becoming a menu launch. The announcements establish Popeyes’ descriptions and release timing, but do not provide verified prices, nutrition figures or independent taste-test results.
