Portal26 announced a $9 million Series A on November 4, 2025, led by Shasta Ventures. Fusion Fund and the venture arm of an unnamed Fortune 500 financial-services institution also participated. Portal26 said it would use the funding for continued growth and product innovation.
What Portal26 announced about the funding
In its November 4, 2025 announcement, Portal26 said it had raised $9 million in Series A financing. Shasta Ventures led the round; Fusion Fund and the venture arm of an unnamed Fortune 500 financial-services institution also took part. Portal26 reported that it had raised a $6 million seed round in 2022.
The company said it planned to put the new proceeds toward continued growth and product innovation. The announcement does not disclose a valuation, ownership stakes, or other round terms.
What Portal26 sells
Portal26 describes its product as enterprise AI adoption-management software. Its current offering is organized around discovering AI use, securing and governing it, and measuring business value. Listed capabilities include Shadow AI discovery, prompt protection, audit and forensics, policy management, AI risk management, user-intent and use-case analysis, license intelligence, agent management, and strategy and ROI analytics.

In February 2026, the company said its Value Realization module had joined Shadow AI discovery and GenAI security as core product pillars. Portal26 says the module helps enterprises direct investment and usage toward higher-value AI applications and agents. These are the company’s descriptions of its product and intended benefits, not independently established performance findings.
What Portal26 says about traction
Portal26’s funding announcement says customers had made multi-year commitments, including commitments “up to 7 figures.” That is a company-reported claim; the announcement does not establish bookings or recognized revenue. The same release quotes Fusion Fund founder and managing partner Lu Zhang describing hundreds of thousands of enterprise GenAI users monitored.

Portal26’s current website also advertises more than 1 billion transactions per month, more than 550,000 users, and ROI in 72 hours. The company does not show a methodology or independent validation for those figures in the cited material, so they should be read as marketing claims rather than audited results.

The raise signals investor backing for Portal26’s effort to sell software that helps organizations understand and manage workplace AI use. It does not, by itself, show how the product compares with other governance or security tools, whether its claimed outcomes apply to a particular business, or what the financing terms were.

Organizations evaluating software in this category can assess coverage of public and sanctioned AI tools, prompt and data visibility, policy enforcement, audit and forensics, integrations with existing DLP, SIEM, or SOAR systems, deployment model, privacy and retention controls, and adoption and cost analytics. These are useful evaluation criteria, not a ranking of Portal26 against competitors.
Portal26 CEO Arti Raman said the company was built to provide “the visibility, security, governance, and strategic analytics necessary for companies to manage their transition for the new normal of how work gets done in the enterprise.” The statement reflects the company’s positioning; buyers should verify product capabilities, deployment details, and outcomes against their own requirements.
