To revoke a saved Cardano dApp connection, remove the website from your wallet’s connected-app or allowlist settings. In Eternl, the documented path is Settings > App Settings > DApp Allowlist; delete the site entry and refresh the dApp. This blocks the saved browser-wallet connection, but it does not undo transactions already signed or submitted, remove collateral, or change stake or voting delegation.
What “revoke access” means for a Cardano wallet
A Cardano wallet connection and permission to move funds are not the same thing. The CIP-30 browser-wallet standard describes a connection through which a website can communicate with a wallet API. Once connected, a dApp may read wallet addresses and unspent transaction outputs (UTxOs), and request transaction or data signatures. The wallet keeps the private keys on the user’s device and mediates signature requests; connecting does not give a website the seed phrase or private keys. CIP-30 and Cardano’s dApp connector documentation explain this model.

Remove a saved connection in Eternl
- Open Eternl and go to Settings > App Settings > DApp Allowlist.
- Find the website you want to disconnect and delete its entry.
- Refresh the dApp. If you want to use it again, reconnect; the wallet can then show a fresh permission prompt.
This menu path is documented in Eternl’s troubleshooting instructions. Wallet interfaces can change, so if the labels differ, consult the current instructions for your wallet version.
For other wallets, use that wallet’s connection controls
There is no single universal Cardano disconnect menu established by CIP-30. The standard describes the browser-wallet API, while saved-connection controls are implemented by individual wallets. In another wallet, look in its official help for terms such as “connected dApps,” “approved sites,” or “DApp connector.” Lace uses the term “DApp connector”; consult Lace’s FAQ for its current wallet guidance. Do not assume a menu path from one wallet applies to another.

What disconnecting does not revoke
Signatures and submitted transactions
A dApp may request a signature, but the wallet presents the request for the user to approve. Reject any pending prompt you do not understand. If you already signed or submitted a transaction, removing the connection is not a cancellation method. Check the transaction’s status and seek transaction-specific help from the wallet or dApp; the outcome depends on that transaction.
Collateral
Collateral is a wallet setting used for some smart-contract interactions, not a website permission. Lace says collateral can be withdrawn at any time, though some later dApp interactions may require it to be set again. Lace’s FAQ specifies 5 ADA when collateral is required in Lace; that figure is specific to Lace’s guidance, not a universal Cardano network requirement. Use your wallet’s collateral controls if collateral is what you intend to change. Lace FAQ

Stake and DRep delegation
Stake delegation is an on-chain choice made through a delegation certificate, and DRep delegation is a separate governance choice. Cardano describes DRep delegation as lending voting power without ADA leaving the wallet. Removing a dApp from an allowlist does not change either delegation; use your wallet’s delegation controls to review or change them. The wallet connection and signing model described by CIP-30 does not establish a universal token-allowance control for every Cardano dApp or smart contract. Avoid treating removal of a browser connection as proof that every contract-specific permission has been revoked. If your concern involves a particular contract or transaction, consult that dApp’s documentation and your wallet’s transaction details rather than assuming an Ethereum-style allowance model applies.
