Spectrum’s published standard rates are not the same as every address-specific promotion, and existing customers should use their current bill to confirm their actual rate.
Start with the offer for your address
Spectrum’s online shopping flow is address-oriented, so availability and promotional terms should be checked where the service will be installed. Its residential disclosure says standard retail rates are the same across its 41-state service area, but also directs current customers to their bill for their current rate. The published rates below are provider-listed rates, not a promise that every plan or offer is available at every address. Spectrum residential broadband disclosure · Spectrum internet plans
For a new customer, save or review the Broadband Facts label attached to the offer actually shown during checkout. Spectrum’s plan page and a label can show different promotional prices because they may represent different offers. The FCC designed these labels to help consumers compare plans and providers; its order notes that optional equipment and geographically variable taxes can affect the bill beyond the label price. What will Spectrum cost after the first year?
Use the promotional price only for the period stated, then compare the post-promotion or standard rate. Spectrum’s online page advertised the introductory prices below when checked; these offers may change and depend on eligibility and address. The standard rates are from Spectrum’s residential disclosure. Neither figure should be treated as a guaranteed quote for a particular household.

| Plan | Online introductory offer | Published standard rate | Published speed tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Internet Advantage | $30/month for one year (Spectrum online offer) | $50/month (Spectrum disclosure) | 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload (Spectrum disclosure) |
| Internet Premier | $40/month for one year (Spectrum online offer) | $85/month (Spectrum disclosure) | 500 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload (Spectrum disclosure) |
| Internet Gig | $60/month for one year (Spectrum online offer) | $105/month (Spectrum disclosure) | 1 Gbps download / 35 Mbps upload (Spectrum disclosure) |
These are separate published figures, not a guarantee that the offer and standard rate will appear together for every address. Review the exact offer’s label and terms before calculating a first-year total or estimating later bills. Spectrum’s disclosure also lists Internet 2 Gig at $125/month in certain locations, including Advanced WiFi, with typical speeds of 2,056 Mbps down and 1,002 Mbps up. The disclosure lists Internet Assist at $25/month, or $15/month discounted, for eligible households; its availability and eligibility terms should be confirmed rather than assumed. Use the label when its figures differ from the plan page
A Broadband Facts label is specific to the plan and offer it describes. For example, a California Internet Premier label shows $50/month for 12 months, then $85/month subject to change; typical speeds of 572 Mbps down and 23 Mbps up; and a $1.25 California Cost Recovery Charge. That is a particular California label, not a universal Premier offer. Internet Premier California Broadband Facts label

A national Internet Gig label shows $70/month for 12 months, then $105 subject to change. It includes a modem and Advanced WiFi and reports typical speeds of 1,159 Mbps down and 1,050 Mbps up, typical latency of 19 ms, unlimited data, and no additional data charge. Those details apply to that label; compare them with the label and terms for your own offer rather than assuming they match the online page’s promotion. Internet Gig national Broadband Facts label
Compare upload speed as well as download speed
Download speed matters for activities such as streaming and downloading files, while upload speed affects sending large files, video calls, and other tasks that transmit data. Compare both numbers for the specific plan and label: Spectrum’s published tier figures list upload speeds of 20 Mbps for Advantage and Premier and 35 Mbps for Gig, while the representative Premier and Gig labels above report different typical speeds. The figures are not interchangeable: use the tier disclosure for its published tier and the actual offer label for that offer’s typical performance.

- Dual band router upgrades to 1200 Mbps high speed internet (300mbps for 2.4GHz plus 900Mbps for 5GHz), reducing buffering and ideal for 4K stream
- Full Gigabit Ports - Gigabit Router with 4 Gigabit LAN ports, ideal for any internet plan and allow you to directly connect your wired devices
- Boosted Coverage - Four external antennas equipped with Beamforming technology extend and concentrate the Wi-Fi signals
- MU-MIMO technology - (5GHz band) allows high speeds for multiple devices simultaneously
- Access Point Mode - Supports AP Mode to transform your wired connection into wireless network, an ideal wireless router for home
Do not choose solely by the largest download number. Consider how many people and devices share the connection and whether your household regularly uploads files or relies on video calls. The supplied plan information does not establish that a given speed will be achieved in every home; the label’s typical metrics are the more offer-specific comparison point where available.
Is Wi-Fi included?
Wi-Fi treatment varies by plan and offer. Spectrum’s online page says Advantage and Premier can add Advanced WiFi for $10/month, while Gig includes it on that page’s offer. The national Gig label likewise includes a modem and Advanced WiFi. Spectrum’s standard disclosure lists Advanced WiFi at $10/month, Invincible WiFi at $30/month, and WiFi Extenders at $5 per extender. Confirm whether the offer already includes Wi-Fi before adding a monthly equipment or service charge to your estimate. Spectrum internet plans · Spectrum residential broadband disclosure

- Dual-band Wi-Fi with 5 GHz speeds up to 867 Mbps and 2.4 GHz speeds up to 300 Mbps, delivering 1200 Mbps of total bandwidth¹. Dual-band routers do not support 6 GHz. Performance varies by conditions, distance to devices, and obstacles such as walls.

- Access Point Mode - Supports AP Mode to transform your wired connection into wireless network, an ideal wireless router for home
- Advanced Security with WPA3 - The latest Wi-Fi security protocol, WPA3, brings new capabilities to improve cybersecurity in personal networks
Spectrum says customers may use their own modem or gateway. Check its current modem policy and compatibility requirements before buying equipment; the available information does not establish that every third-party router or advanced Wi-Fi feature can replace Spectrum’s managed service. A router is an optional equipment choice, not a required purchase for comparing internet plans.

| Professional installation | $50 |
| Change of service | $50 |

The $0 early termination fee does not eliminate setup or equipment-return costs. Ask which installation method and charges apply to your order, and keep track of any equipment you must return.
Check data, contract, and eligibility terms
Confirm data allowances and contract terms on the label for the exact plan. The national Gig label reports unlimited data and no additional data charge. The Internet Assist label also reports unlimited data and no additional data charge, and says Assist is not an introductory price and requires no contract. It lists typical speeds of 57 Mbps down and 11 Mbps up, typical latency of 19 ms, optional WiFi at $10/month, and Invincible WiFi at $30/month. Assist has eligibility limits, so it is not an option for every household. Internet Assist Broadband Facts label
Do not generalize those label terms to a different plan or offer. Read the Broadband Facts disclosure and order terms shown for your address, especially if the shopping page and a representative label do not show the same price or equipment treatment.
Quick Recap
A practical way to compare two Spectrum offers
- Enter the service address on Spectrum’s internet plan page and note the plans and promotions shown for that location.
- Open the Broadband Facts label for each offer. Record the introductory duration, the price afterward if shown, typical download and upload speeds, latency, data terms, and whether a modem or Wi-Fi service is included.
- Build a first-year estimate from the monthly offer and promotion length, then separately note the price that applies after the promotion. Add Wi-Fi or other recurring options only if they are not already included.
- Check one-time and conditional costs such as activation, installation, and any equipment-return charges that could apply to your situation.
- Verify eligibility and terms before ordering. If you already have Spectrum, check your bill for your current rate rather than treating a new-customer offer as your account price.
