The Alienware monitor in the 2024 deal report was the 34-inch AW3423DWF. HotHardware said a $679.99 sale price plus a $68 Dell Rewards coupon brought it to $611.99 before tax, with $288 in total savings claimed. That is a historical offer, not a verified price available today.

How the reported $288 discount was calculated

HotHardware’s 2024 report described two discounts applied to the AW3423DWF: a sale price of $679.99 and a $68 Dell Rewards coupon. The resulting price was $611.99 before tax. The article characterized the combined reduction as $288 in savings; that figure is the report’s claim, not an independently established price-history record. Read HotHardware’s deal report.

The offer’s price, coupon, shipping terms, and availability have not been verified as live on October 4, 2026. Treat $611.99 as a past deal reference, not a current checkout price or guaranteed discount.

Which Alienware monitor was on sale?

The deal concerned the AW3423DWF, not the later AW3425DW or AW3426DW. According to HotHardware’s 2024 report, the AW3423DWF is a curved 34-inch QD-OLED with 3440×1440 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Its refresh rate is 100Hz over HDMI. The report also lists 1,000-nit peak brightness, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, and FreeSync Premium Pro.

The height adjustable stand with height markers and the tilt, swivel, and slant capabilities allow for easy viewing adjustment.
  • FOR CRITICAL CREATING: For content creators and game developers who require precise color-critical work, the new Creator Mode feature was designed for you. This OSD menu option allows you the flexibility to choose between the native (DCI-P3) and the sRGB color space, depending on your work needs, and the ability to adjust the gamma settings.
  • QUALITY ASSURANCE GUARANTEED: The new Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor comes with improved OLED reliability and a 3-year premium warranty, including coverage for OLED burn-in, for additional peace of mind.

Listed connections are HDMI 2.0, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, audio-out, and headphone-out. These specifications apply to the AW3423DWF; newer-model specifications should not be substituted for them.

How it compares with newer Alienware 34-inch QD-OLED models

The later AW3425DW and AW3426DW are distinct models with higher refresh rates. Their prices and specifications are useful context, but they do not verify the old AW3423DWF’s current price or change what the historical offer included.

What to check before buying

For a purchase decision today, compare the exact model number and current checkout total rather than relying on an old headline or a successor’s price. The AW3423DWF’s 165Hz rate, including its 100Hz HDMI limit, may be enough for some setups; the later models offer higher refresh rates. Port selection, suitability for work, and warranty terms may matter as much as refresh rate, depending on how you will use the monitor.
