It is the option to consider if you want Photoshop alongside Lightroom; Adobe’s Lightroom-only plan also includes 1TB, so the storage allowance alone is not a reason to pay for Photography.
What is included in the Adobe Photography plan?
Adobe lists full versions of Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, plus 1TB of cloud storage. Adobe also describes Lightroom as a way to edit across devices and automatically sync projects. Its desktop apps install on your computer and can run without an internet connection after installation; offline use does not provide cloud syncing or web features.
Adobe advertises a seven-day free trial on its US Photography page. Check the current terms there before signing up, since trial availability and subscription conditions may vary by market.

Which Lightroom workflow fits your library?
Lightroom: cloud-oriented editing
Adobe describes Lightroom as cloud-based, with images automatically stored and synced across desktop, mobile and web. That approach suits a workflow where you want to move between devices and access synced work online.
Lightroom Classic: desktop-focused library
Adobe describes Lightroom Classic as desktop-focused and suited to people who prefer local hard-drive storage. That may fit better when your main library and editing routine are centered on a computer rather than cloud syncing.

On Adobe’s US annual-billed-monthly listings verified October 4, 2026, Photography costs US$8 more per month than Lightroom (1TB). Both list the same storage allocation; the price difference buys access to Photoshop as well as the Lightroom apps. If Photoshop is part of your editing work, the bundle may make sense. If Lightroom is all you need, the Lightroom plan avoids paying for an app you may not use. Compare local prices and billing commitments before choosing.
