What the expired $159 offer actually showed
Slickdeals recorded a Walmart offer for the Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hub 8TB at $159 versus a listed $209 reference price. That works out to about 23% off, and the listing is marked expired. It is historical deal information, not confirmation of current Walmart stock, a current price, or Seagate’s regular price. See the Slickdeals listing.
Before relying on a new discount, confirm the retailer’s live price, seller, availability, and exact model. A percentage discount is only as useful as its reference price; the available listing does not substantiate the title’s 28% claim.

Model STKK8000400 is an external USB hard drive in a gaming-oriented enclosure. Seagate’s American-region data sheet specifies USB 3.2 Gen 1, customizable RGB lighting controlled through Seagate Toolkit, and compatibility with most Windows and macOS systems. It notes that Mac reformatting may be required and that compatibility depends on the computer hardware and operating system. Seagate’s American-region data sheet has the product specifications.
#1 Best Overall
The enclosure can sit vertically or horizontally and includes front-facing USB-C and USB-A ports for peripherals. The host connection is micro-USB 3.2 Gen 1; the included AC adapter powers the unit. The box contents listed by Seagate include a 4-foot USB 3.0 cable, power adapter, and quick-install guide. B&H also lists Razer Chroma synchronization for the lighting, though its product page says the item is no longer available there. B&H’s STKK8000400 listing.
The cited product materials do not establish measured transfer speeds, game-loading improvements, or benchmark superiority. Do not treat the USB generation or gaming styling as proof that it performs better than another drive in a particular setup.

Check warranty terms for your region
Warranty and recovery coverage vary across the cited regional sources. Seagate’s American-region data sheet lists a one-year limited warranty and three years of Rescue Data Recovery Services for the 8TB configuration. Seagate UK lists a two-year limited warranty for STKK8000400, while B&H lists a one-year manufacturer warranty and three years of Rescue coverage. Confirm the terms that apply to the actual seller and your country rather than assuming one duration applies worldwide.
Seagate’s product marketing states a 95% success rate for Rescue Data Recovery Services; that is a vendor claim, not an independently verified result, and Seagate says service availability varies by country.
