That is a conditional maximum—not a guaranteed discount—and the credit depends on the device you submit and Samsung’s inspection rules. Samsung’s offer can change, so check the live terms and checkout total before buying.
What Galaxy Z Fold7 deal is available from Samsung?
Samsung US lists “Galaxy Z Fold7 Get up to $570 instant trade-in credit.” The actual amount depends on the eligible device being traded in; Samsung says qualifying models and credit amounts can change. The advertised maximum should not be treated as the value of every trade-in or as an unconditional price reduction. See Samsung’s current phone offers and terms.
What can affect your trade-in credit?
Samsung applies an anticipated trade-in credit at purchase, but you must send a qualifying device that meets the program rules. The listed conditions include that the device powers on, holds a charge, has a functioning display, has no disallowed cracks or damage or liquid damage, and is not blacklisted. You must factory-reset it, remove personal information, and disable software locks.
Samsung’s terms say the device must be sent within 15 days of receiving the new purchase. If it is not sent on time, Samsung may charge back the credit. If it arrives on time but fails eligibility, Samsung says it may charge back the credit minus $25. One trade-in is allowed per qualifying purchase. Samsung also says the offer cannot be combined with other Samsung, carrier, or retailer promotions unless the applicable terms expressly allow it. The terms include this warning: “Samsung reserves the right to modify or discontinue this offer at any time.”

How to compare the discount with other ways to buy
- Check your exact configuration and live price. Compare the same storage tier and unlocked or carrier version at checkout; an advertised trade-in maximum does not tell you the final price.
- Get your device-specific Samsung credit. Enter the trade-in model and condition in Samsung’s current offer flow, then compare that credit with what you could reasonably get by selling the device yourself.
- Calculate the full carrier cost. Carrier bill credits may depend on a particular service plan, a new line, or credits spread across multiple bills. Compare the total required service cost over the full credit period with what you would otherwise pay—not just the headline savings.
- Check whether discounts stack. Do not assume Samsung’s trade-in can be combined with a carrier or retailer offer; confirm the terms for each offer.
- Include timing and risk. Review payment, return, and trade-in deadlines, and account for the possibility of a credit chargeback if the submitted device fails the rules.
A dated Samsung product listing result reported unlocked prices of $1,999.99 for 256GB, $2,199.99 for 512GB, and $2,499.99 for 1TB. That result was crawled about three months before October 4, 2026; it is not a verified current checkout quote. Use Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold7 product listing to check the price and availability for your configuration. Historical carrier examples are not confirmation of current offers; verify a carrier’s present plan, line, and bill-credit conditions directly.
