MOIL Limited’s 2024 recruitment advertised 44 tentative vacancies across Graduate Trainee, Management Trainee and Manager (Survey) roles. Applications closed on March 21, 2024, and official notices later confirmed the CBT and subsequent interview and verification stages. This is a historical recruitment notice, not an open application: the old application route is not a current way to apply.
What the 44 MOIL vacancies included
MOIL issued Advertisement No. GT/MT-MGR/02/2024 on March 1, 2024. The notice described the vacancy numbers as tentative and reserved the company’s right to change them. The total was not 44 Graduate and Management Trainee posts alone: it included two Manager (Survey) vacancies.

The notice’s category totals were 25 General, 4 EWS, 6 SC, 2 ST and 7 OBC (NCL). One Materials vacancy was horizontally reserved for PwBD candidates. The three Process vacancies could be interchanged among the listed disciplines according to company requirements.
Application dates and the direct-link question
Online registration opened on March 1, 2024. The deadline to submit an application and fee was March 21, 2024, at 23:59. Because that window has ended and the recruitment proceeded to later stages, there is no live application link for this 2024 intake. Anyone searching for “MOIL recruitment 2024 direct link” should treat old application-page links as historical, not as an active route to submit an application.

Eligibility depended on the post
MOIL did not set one education rule for all 44 vacancies. The advertisement specified engineering degrees for several Graduate Trainee disciplines, postgraduate qualifications for some Management Trainee roles and professional qualifications for Finance & Accounts. Manager (Survey) had its own education, competency-certificate and experience requirements.
Minimum qualifying marks and category-based exceptions also differed by role. Applicants needed to check the original Advertisement No. GT/MT-MGR/02/2024 for the exact qualification, marks, experience and category conditions applicable to their chosen post. A general statement such as “graduates could apply” would not accurately describe this recruitment.

Age limit, fee and trainee pay in the 2024 notice
These were the terms stated for the 2024 recruitment and should not be assumed to apply to a later MOIL notification.
- Upper age as of March 21, 2024: 30 years for Graduate and Management Trainees and 35 years for Manager (Survey) for General/EWS candidates. The advertisement specified relaxations for eligible categories.
- Application fee: ₹590 including GST for General, EWS and OBC applicants. The notice exempted SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates, as well as MOIL employees.
- Trainee basic pay: ₹50,000 per month during one year of training, within the E-2 pay scale of ₹50,000–₹1,60,000. The notice also described regularisation and probation terms after training, along with additional allowances and benefits.
The notice said trainees could be posted at mines in Maharashtra or Madhya Pradesh, or at another location at management’s discretion.

How selection worked
Computer-based test
The CBT was 90 minutes and carried 85 marks. General knowledge, reasoning and English were worth 10 marks each; subject knowledge was worth 55 marks. The test was divided into general and subject-knowledge segments. The qualifying threshold was 50% in each segment for General/EWS candidates and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD/OBC (NCL) candidates.
Interview and final merit
MOIL said candidates would be shortlisted for interview on merit and could use a 1:6 ratio for each category and vacancy. The interview carried 15 marks, and final merit combined CBT and interview scores.

What happened after applications closed
MOIL’s May 16, 2024 notice scheduled the CBT for June 2, 2024. A July 19, 2024 notice concerned interview shortlisting after the test, and a September 2024 notice set out document verification and medical examination for candidates who progressed. These later notices establish that this recruitment moved beyond application intake; they do not reopen the 2024 application window.
For any future recruitment, rely on the specific MOIL advertisement and dated notices for that cycle. Eligibility, vacancy counts, deadlines, fees and selection rules can change between notifications.
