It may suit you if you want those core arrangements coordinated in one booking, but whether it is good value depends on the specific hotel, dates, flights, inclusions and total price compared with realistic alternatives.
What is a Jet2holidays package?
Jet2holidays is the package-holiday business associated with Jet2.com. Its overview describes its holidays as including accommodation, return flights, hotel transfers and 22kg baggage; it also advertises 10kg hand luggage. These are the operator’s stated inclusions, not a guarantee that every booking has identical arrangements. Check the selected holiday’s listing and booking documents.
The company offers different types of trips, including family holidays, all-inclusive stays, villas, city breaks and higher-end collections. Inclusions can differ by holiday and accommodation: for example, some options may specify car hire or private transfers. Confirm the exact details rather than assuming a feature applies across the range. See the holiday types and the individual listing.
What does a package booking protect?
ABTA describes a package holiday as a qualifying combination of at least two different types of travel service. For a package, the organiser is responsible for the proper performance of the services included in the contract. UK flight-inclusive packages are financially protected through ATOL. If the organiser fails financially before you travel, protection is intended to provide a refund; if you are already away, it can help with return travel and refunds for services that cannot be provided. Check the CAA’s ATOL guidance and your ATOL Certificate and booking documents to confirm what your particular booking covers.

Is a Jet2holidays trip worth booking?
It can be a sensible option if you value having flights, accommodation and transfers arranged together and the package matches your needs at a competitive total price. The package organiser’s responsibilities and the financial protection applicable to a UK flight-inclusive booking are also relevant benefits to weigh.
There is no basis to assume Jet2holidays is always cheaper or better than booking each element separately. Compare the same dates, departure airport, flight schedule, hotel and room category, board basis, baggage, transfers and cancellation terms. Compare the total payable cost, including practical expenses not covered by either option. Price and availability depend on the live listing; a headline package price alone is not a like-for-like comparison.

What to check before you book
- Match the trip. Compare the exact hotel, room category, location, dates and flight schedule against alternatives.
- Verify meals and facilities. Check the selected board basis and whether meals, drinks or other facilities are included in that specific option.
- Confirm luggage and transfers. Check the live booking and confirmation for baggage allowances, transfer type and optional extras.
- Read the protection documents. Review the package conditions, organiser details and ATOL Certificate to understand which services are covered.
- Compare cost and flexibility. Include any extra practical costs, cancellation conditions and the cost of arranging suitable travel insurance separately.
