For transferring points to World of Hyatt, Bilt’s published rate is 1:1, while Chase has announced a 4:3 rate for certain Ultimate Rewards cards. That means 1,000 Bilt Points produce 1,000 Hyatt points, compared with 750 Hyatt points from 1,000 Chase points at the 4:3 rate. But Chase’s change applies to named card groups and dates—not automatically to every Chase account—so check the ratio shown in the account you would use before deciding.

How the Hyatt transfer rates compare

Bilt lists World of Hyatt as a 1:1 transfer partner. Chase’s 2026 announcement says points from specified Ultimate Rewards cards transfer to Hyatt at 4:3: 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points become 750 Hyatt points. These are published program ratios, not a comparison of the overall value of either rewards program.

Which Chase cards have the published 4:3 rate?

Chase’s announcement says Sapphire Preferred cardmembers who applied on or after June 15, 2026, receive the 4:3 rate immediately; for those who applied earlier, the change took effect October 1, 2026. Chase also names Ink Business Preferred, Ink Plus, and Corporate Flex cards as affected effective October 1, 2026. The announcement does not establish a current Hyatt ratio for every Chase card that may be eligible to transfer Ultimate Rewards.

Chase’s published example is 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points to 750 World of Hyatt points. Check the transfer screen for the specific account initiating the transfer before doing any calculations or confirming a transaction.

Compare the points needed for your actual Hyatt stay

The relevant comparison is how many source points each account needs for the award you can actually book. Hyatt’s award chart varies by property category and pricing band. The official chart lists Category 1 standard-room awards from 6,000 points at the lowest band to 12,000 at the top band; the live price and room availability for your dates are what matter.

  1. Search World of Hyatt for the specific property, dates, room type, and award availability. Note the points price and any cash component shown.
  2. In the Chase account that would make the transfer, check the displayed Hyatt ratio. At 4:3, 4,000 Ultimate Rewards points convert to 3,000 Hyatt points; calculate from the exact target award price and the account’s available balance.
  3. In Bilt, compare the same target amount using its published 1:1 ratio, then confirm the membership-tier minimum and transfer increment in the transfer flow.
  4. Compare the source points required, any cash component, likely transfer delay, and whether the award is still available. Transfer only when you are prepared to book.

Hyatt’s award chart and award information show multiple price bands and award types; a chart price does not guarantee an available room. Hyatt says Points + Cash awards are subject to availability.

Transfer minimums, timing, and reversibility

Chase Ultimate Rewards

Chase’s public guide lists World of Hyatt as a hotel transfer partner and describes transfers in 1,000-point increments for eligible customers with a qualifying Chase card. Transfers often process by the next business day but may take up to seven business days. Chase says partner transfers are final, so check availability first and allow enough time for the points to arrive. See Chase’s transfer guide.

Bilt Rewards

Bilt’s terms require transfers in multiples of 1,000 points. Blue members need at least 2,000 points; Silver, Gold, and Platinum members need at least 1,000. Bilt says transfers generally complete within 20 minutes but may take up to 48 hours. Completed transfers generally cannot be reversed or canceled. The member must be enrolled in and link the partner account, which must belong to the member and use the member’s name. Check the partner-specific terms in Bilt’s app or website at transfer time. See Bilt’s transfer partner terms.

Check for a current transfer bonus before sending points

Bilt says to check its app for Rent Day transfer bonuses. A bonus displayed for your account can change the effective amount of Hyatt points received, but do not assume a promotion is active or apply a past offer to a transfer now. Confirm any offer’s eligibility and terms in the program before proceeding.

When each route may make sense

  • Bilt may require fewer source points when its 1:1 rate applies and your Chase account displays the 4:3 rate, assuming the same Hyatt award is available through either route.
  • Chase may be competitive if the account-specific ratio differs from 4:3 or a current offer changes the transfer math; confirm the exact terms rather than generalizing from the named-card announcement.
  • Neither is a clear choice yet if you have not confirmed the Hyatt award price and availability, or if you cannot tolerate the transfer delay or the risk of points being stranded after a booking disappears.

These comparisons use transfer ratios only. They do not establish which program’s points are more valuable overall; the answer depends on your balances, the live Hyatt award, account-specific terms, and timing.
