Dolly Parton’s frozen meals offer single-serve comfort-food dishes that the brand says can be heated in an oven or microwave. The current official product page lists six options, but the available information does not establish that they are a better deal or taste better than other frozen dinners. The practical case for them is convenience and a familiar Southern-inspired menu; price, local stock and whether a dish suits your household need checking before you buy.
What meals are available?
The official product page currently displays six single-serve meals. Dolly Parton and Conagra introduced four of them in the May 2025 launch; the page does not state when the other two were added.
| Meal | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Homestyle Meatloaf with Roasted Potatoes & Cornbread Casserole | Meatloaf with roasted potatoes and cornbread casserole; further description not stated on the official product list. |
| Fried Chicken Mac & Cheese | Fried chicken and macaroni and cheese; further description not stated on the official product list. |
| Shrimp & Grits With Cheese, Tomatoes & Scallions In A Spicy Sauce | White cheddar grits, shrimp, cherry tomatoes and spicy Southern-style sauce, according to the May 2025 launch announcement. |
| Beef Pot Roast with Vegetables in Southern-Style Gravy | USDA Choice beef with carrots, celery, onions and roasted red potatoes in Southern-style gravy, according to the May 2025 launch announcement. |
| Chicken & Dumplings With Vegetables & Creamy Sauce | White meat chicken, thick-cut carrots and celery, dumplings, and a creamy pepper-and-thyme sauce, according to the May 2025 launch announcement. |
| Country Fried Steak With Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans With Bacon | Fried beef patty with black pepper and chive country gravy, mashed potatoes, and seasoned green beans with smoky bacon, according to the May 2025 launch announcement. |
The current lineup is shown on Baking with Dolly’s frozen meals page. The original four-dish lineup and descriptions appear in Dolly Parton’s May 21, 2025 announcement. Conagra also confirmed the quartet in its June 11, 2025 release.
Can they make weeknight dinner easier?
They are positioned as heat-and-eat, single-serve meals, and the brand says they can be prepared in an oven or microwave. That format may be useful when you want an individual portion without planning or cooking a full meal. It does not, by itself, establish how long a particular meal takes, how it tastes, or whether it is more convenient than another option; follow the package directions for the specific entrée.
#1 Best Overall
Dolly Parton described the meals at launch as a way to bring “a little taste of my own Southern favorites” to customers and said she hoped they would warm hearts and bellies. Those are her launch-announcement comments, not independent taste-test results.
What did the meals cost at launch, and what should you expect now?
The official Baking with Dolly FAQ and Conagra’s June 2025 release gave a suggested retail price of $4.49 around the 2025 rollout. That is a launch-era suggested price, not a verified current shelf price or a promise of what a retailer charges today. The cited sources do not establish a current price, a value comparison with other frozen meals, or current local inventory.

The FAQ said the meals would begin appearing online and in-store at select national retailers in late April 2025; the launch announcement described availability at major U.S. grocery retailers. These are general launch-era availability statements, not confirmation that a particular store has a meal in stock now. If you cannot find one, use the brand’s Where to Buy locator and confirm price and stock with the retailer.
How do you prepare them?
The brand says the meals can be heated in either an oven or a microwave. Preparation time and settings can vary by meal, so use the directions printed on the back of the package rather than assuming one method or timing applies to every variety. The official Baking with Dolly FAQ provides the general preparation guidance.

Dietary and geographic limits to know
- Gluten: The official FAQ says the single-serve meals are not gluten-free. For ingredients or other allergen concerns, check the full label on the exact package; the cited product information does not provide complete meal-by-meal ingredient and allergen panels.
- Where sold: The FAQ says Dolly Parton frozen foods are available only in the United States.
Are the meals separate from Dolly Parton’s other frozen products?
Yes. The single-serve dinners are distinct from the multi-serve Biscuit Batter Peach Cobbler described in the May 2025 announcement. That cobbler has biscuit batter baked over peach filling; it is a separate product, not another single-serve dinner variety. The announcement also places the frozen range within a broader Conagra partnership that began in 2022 with Duncan Hines baking mixes and frostings.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to decide whether to try one
- Consider one if you want an individually portioned comfort-food meal and the oven-or-microwave format fits your evening.
- Check before purchasing the current shelf price, local stock and package directions; the $4.49 figure was suggested pricing around launch, not a current quote.
- Read the package carefully if you are managing gluten, allergies or other dietary needs; the brand says the meals are not gluten-free, and details vary by product.
- Do not assume availability online from the brand’s general retailer statements. The cited sources do not verify current Amazon listings, sellers or frozen delivery to a particular address.
On the available information, “game changer” is best understood as a promotional or personal judgment rather than a demonstrated result. The line has a clearly defined convenience format and six listed Southern-inspired dishes, but independent taste performance and comparative value are not established by the brand’s product information.
