To find out whether you can buy a tokenized Treasury product in your country, check the exact fund’s current eligibility and offering terms, then confirm them with its issuer or authorized platform. Country access is product-specific: residency, investor status, onboarding, and the route you use can all matter. A token’s presence on a public blockchain does not mean every investor may legally acquire or hold the underlying fund interest.
What “available in my country” actually means
There is no universal country list for tokenized Treasuries. The answer depends on the exact product and how you access it. A fund may accept investors in a country only if they meet a defined investor category and complete onboarding; another product from the same issuer can have different rules.
Eligibility is not established by citizenship alone, an IP address, the blockchain network, or the ability to receive a token in a wallet. Check the fund’s legal terms and the rules for your residence and investor category. Also distinguish the fund itself from a wrapper or access product: OUSG, BENJI/FOBXX, and BUIDL have different issuers, legal forms, and access requirements.
How to check whether you can buy the product
- Identify the exact product. Find its legal name, ticker, issuer, and the specific fund or access product you would subscribe to. Do not rely on a general label such as “tokenized Treasury.”
- Open the issuer’s current documents. Look for the product eligibility page, offering documents, terms of service, and jurisdiction-specific notices on the issuer’s official site. These are more useful than a token listing, wallet support page, or broad claim of global availability.
- Check your country of residence. Determine whether residents are prohibited, conditionally eligible, or not addressed in the available materials. Do not treat a country omitted from a list as approved.
- Check the investor category. Confirm whether the offering is open to retail investors or limited to categories such as accredited, qualified, or professional investors. Ask what proof of status is required.
- Check the access route and onboarding. Ask which platform or portal accepts applications from your country, and whether identity checks, qualification checks, wallet whitelisting, subscription steps, or other requirements apply.
- Confirm any uncertainty with the issuer or authorized platform. Ask specifically whether it currently accepts residents of your country who have your investor status, and request written confirmation if the terms are unclear. Availability and terms can change.
Examples: eligibility differs by product and route
Ondo OUSG
Ondo’s OUSG product page describes exposure to short-term U.S. Treasuries and money-market funds. It says organizations or individuals in eligible countries, including the United States, may invest, redeem, transfer, or receive OUSG after onboarding to Qualified-Access Funds. The page lists accredited investors and qualified purchasers. It states a $5,000 minimum for instant investment and redemption; this is a product-page figure, not a guarantee that every person in every country qualifies. Check the live terms before acting.

Ondo’s legal notice says additional jurisdiction-based restrictions apply. The fact that the product page names the United States among eligible countries does not by itself establish eligibility for every U.S. resident or investor.
Ondo Intelligent Portfolios
Ondo’s Intelligent Portfolios FAQ describes a separate set of restrictions: the product family is unavailable in the United States and to U.S. persons; access in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom is limited to qualified investors; and access in Switzerland is limited to professional clients. Those rules illustrate why one issuer’s product rules should not be applied to another product from that issuer.

Franklin Templeton BENJI / FOBXX
BENJI represents a tokenized share of Franklin Templeton’s Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund (FOBXX), not a generic claim to Treasury securities. Franklin describes access for U.S. retail investors through its mobile app and for global institutions through its institutional portal. Its public materials do not provide a complete country-by-country retail availability table, so a retail investor outside the United States should confirm access directly rather than infer it from the institutional channel. Franklin’s 2024 fund description states that FOBXX allocates at least 99.5 percent of assets to government securities, cash, and repurchase agreements fully collateralized by government securities or cash. That allocation statement describes the fund, not country eligibility or a direct Treasury holding by each token holder.

BlackRock BUIDL
Securitize describes BUIDL as a private-fund security: its shares represent interests in a private fund and are not stablecoins. Access is subject to eligibility, onboarding, wallet whitelisting, subscription, transfer, and redemption requirements. The July 30, 2026 deployment announcement does not establish a complete country-by-country eligibility list. Ask the authorized platform about your residence and investor category.
Compare the terms that affect access
If you are considering more than one product, compare the actual legal and operational terms rather than choosing by ticker or blockchain deployment.

Before subscribing, also review fees, minimums, transfer limitations, redemption conditions, and the current offering documents. The route can be as important as the fund: Franklin separates retail and institutional channels, while BUIDL access includes whitelisting and other onboarding steps.

A token ticker or blockchain deployment does not tell you the legal rights attached to the investment or whether you can buy it. BENJI represents shares in FOBXX, while BUIDL shares represent interests in a private fund. Neither the label “tokenized Treasury” nor the ability to hold a token establishes that it is a stablecoin, a direct holding of Treasury bills, or an offering available to every country. Read the fund documents to understand what interest is being offered and what transfer and redemption rules apply.

When country eligibility is not published clearly
Some issuer pages describe eligible countries without publishing a full country-by-country list for every investor channel. In that case, do not infer approval from a product’s international presence or from an institution’s ability to use a portal. Contact the issuer or authorized distributor with your country of residence and investor category, and ask whether it currently accepts applications from people in that situation. The official materials cited here do not provide one comprehensive list covering all tokenized Treasury products.
