It is a financing round announced by Mine on December 5, 2023. Battery Ventures led the round. Mine said it had raised more than $43 million in total since launching in January 2020. SecurityWeek reported the funding and company figures.
The announcement is a company-funding milestone, not a consumer investment opportunity or a public stock offering. Mine operates from Tel Aviv and in the United States from Boston.
What does MineOS do?
Mine describes MineOS as an enterprise-grade platform for data lifecycle management. SecurityWeek says it combines continuous scanning with artificial intelligence to help businesses identify, inventory, and classify structured and unstructured data in cloud and on-premise environments.

The platform is presented as a way for organizations to understand where data resides and connect that visibility to privacy and security work. Mine calls it “the singular source of truth for Data Lifecycle Management.”
