Companies can use MyAirBridge to make remote teamwork smoother when the hard part is moving large files, collecting materials from outside contributors, and controlling who can access shared project assets. It combines file transfer, storage, and folder permissions; it is not a replacement for chat, project management, or live document co-authoring. The strongest results come from treating it as the asset-exchange layer in a wider collaboration setup—not as the whole remote office.
What MyAirBridge does for a remote team
Distributed teams can coordinate well and still lose time when video, photography, CAD files, design packages, datasets, archives, or client deliverables are too large for email and awkward to pass around through ad hoc links. A team also needs a dependable way to receive files, share only the necessary project material with clients or contractors, and know whether a shared folder has changed.
MyAirBridge addresses that file layer through browser-based transfers, online storage, shared folders, and team profiles. A transfer link is suited to delivery; stored files and shared folders are suited to ongoing project access. The product documents profile and folder-sharing features at MyAirBridge’s teamwork page and a broader feature list at its features page.
That scope matters. MyAirBridge does not, on the documented feature set, replace a task board, project calendar, threaded discussion, approval workflow, or simultaneous editing in office documents. Teams can pair it with the communication and planning tools they already use, rather than expecting a file-transfer service to manage the entire project.

How team storage and sharing work
Choose between a transfer and a stored project asset
A direct transfer creates a delivery route for a recipient, typically through a link or notification. It is useful when the goal is to get a file to someone, but temporary transfers expire according to their applicable plan and settings. Files saved in online storage are intended to remain available for continuing access. A shared folder can provide a stable place for project files and incoming contributions.
MyAirBridge says files shared from storage remain available until the share is canceled or the data is deleted, and stored data remains available while the paid profile is active. That means persistent storage avoids a recipient missing a short-lived link, but it also puts retention and storage housekeeping on the company. See the FAQ and feature details for the service’s descriptions of storage and sharing.
Use shared or dedicated space deliberately
Team members can use a common storage area or have separate dedicated space. Multiple profiles can also help users separate contexts—for example, personal activity from a project profile. A shared area makes project assets easier for a team to reach, while dedicated space can keep individual work distinct. Before a project begins, decide what belongs in each location and who is responsible for the shared project folder.
Match folder permission to the recipient’s job
MyAirBridge describes three folder-sharing modes. View only allows previewing but not downloading, copying, or editing. Read allows downloading. Read and write lets collaborators work in the permitted folder, including uploading and, according to the feature description, copying, moving, or deleting data. A folder can be shared with different users under different settings and can be password-protected.

| Recipient | Practical starting permission | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Project owner | Read and write | Needs to manage files and contributors. |
| Core contributor | Read and write only where contribution is required | Can add or organize project material, but this permission can also allow destructive changes. |
| Client or reviewer | View only for preview; read if downloads are needed | Supports review or delivery without granting contribution rights. |
| External uploader | Narrowly scoped upload route or folder | Lets the person submit materials without broad access to project storage. |
| Archive manager | Read and write, with defined retention responsibility | Can maintain the final project record and archive. |
Read/write is convenient, but it should be limited to trusted collaborators because it can expose files to movement or deletion within the shared area. Keep a recovery or backup copy for business-critical material and define who may replace or remove approved files.
A practical MyAirBridge workflow for remote projects
Before work begins
- Create a project-specific folder or profile, then decide whether shared assets should live in common storage or individual space.
- Set a naming and version convention, designate a folder owner, and specify when active files will be archived or deleted.
- List collaborators and give each only the permission needed: view only, read, or read and write.
- If using a password-protected share, agree on a separate channel for sending the password; do not send the password alongside the link.
While the team is working
- Put working source assets in the project folder rather than repeatedly issuing temporary transfer links for the same material.
- Invite internal collaborators or share only the relevant folder with an external client, freelancer, or vendor.
- Use read/write only for contributors who must upload or manage files; give reviewers view-only or read access according to whether they need downloads.
- Pay attention to folder notifications. MyAirBridge says shared-folder changes can generate email alerts, including uploads or deletions, and its feature page describes disabling notifications for a folder through its context menu.
- For incoming files, use a suitably scoped collection route and decide who will identify, review, and move submissions into the approved project area.
At review, delivery, and closeout
- Move approved deliverables into a clearly named final or delivery folder.
- Set recipients to view-only or read access as appropriate, and use an expiry for temporary delivery links when long-term access is not needed.
- Use persistent storage only for files that need continued availability; revoke obsolete shares and remove data that no longer needs to be retained.
- Keep a documented final copy outside the active collaboration area if the material is business-critical, then review access when the project or a contractor relationship ends.
Where the workflow helps most
- Creative production: Share large video, photo, audio, or design assets with production partners and collect incoming footage or revisions.
- Client services: Keep working files in a project folder, give a client review access, and use a separate delivery link for a time-limited handoff.
- Engineering and design: Exchange large CAD packages, datasets, and build assets without treating a download link as a version-control or issue-tracking system.
- External intake: MyAirBridge says a custom domain, available from Pro according to its FAQ, can let outside contributors upload without registering. The reviewed feature descriptions do not establish every current administrative control over uploader identity, visibility, or screening, so decide how your team will label and vet incoming files.
Large transfers, interruptions, and receiving files
The current plans page lists a maximum single-upload size of 20 GB on Guest and Free registered accounts, 50 GB on Basic, 250 GB on Pro, and an unlimited single-upload limit on Enterprise. These limits matter when a team routinely moves media or engineering assets larger than ordinary email attachments.
MyAirBridge states that free transfers above 2 GB may be slower because they depend on available capacity, while paid transfers are not speed-restricted in the same way. The FAQ also says a transfer can be paused and resumed for up to three days, provided the relevant browser tab remains available. That can help with an unstable home connection, mobile hotspot, or location change; do not close the tab if you expect to resume the transfer. See the FAQ.
Ordinary transfers can be made in a browser without installing software, according to MyAirBridge’s large-file transfer guide. For online storage, the service also documents WebDAV access, which can make storage appear as a folder in an operating system. The WebDAV instructions warn that Windows has an approximately 50 MB default file-size limitation in this context and describe a registry change to raise it to 4 GB. Treat WebDAV as a convenience to test in your actual environment, not an automatic choice for very large Windows media transfers.

Security controls—and the responsibilities they leave to you
Transport protection, passwords, and account access
MyAirBridge says data sent through its application is encrypted in transit and that the service has received an A+ SSL Labs rating. These are provider statements; the rating should not be read as an independently checked current result here. The provider also lists two-factor authentication, but the reviewed feature page does not establish current authenticator methods or enrollment steps.
Password protection adds a control for a transfer or shared folder where available on the chosen plan. The password should travel through a different communication channel from the file link. If a link and its password are sent together in one email or message, access to that channel may expose both.
Optional end-to-end encryption
MyAirBridge documents an end-to-end encryption mode in which encryption and decryption happen in the sender’s and recipient’s browsers. Its description specifies a password-derived 256-bit key, AES-GCM, and PBKDF2 with 100,000 SHA-256 iterations. The plans page lists end-to-end encryption for Pro and Enterprise, not Guest, Free, or Basic; consult the live plans page for current availability and terms.
This mode makes password handling a critical part of the workflow. MyAirBridge warns that the password should be sent separately from the file link. If the password is lost, recovery may not be possible, so agree on a secure way to retain and share it before encrypting irreplaceable project files. Technical details are on the provider’s encryption page.

Privacy statements are not a compliance assessment
MyAirBridge says it does not sell or share user data, does not support user tracking or monitoring, does not permit third-party advertising in the application, and uses Content Security Policy protections. Those are claims from the provider’s privacy page; they are not substitutes for reviewing the contract, checking current security evidence, or assessing regulatory and retention obligations for your business.
Plan selection for a team
The following figures are the prices and limits displayed on MyAirBridge’s plans page when checked on August 18, 2026. Currency, billing cycle, taxes, geography, and plan details can change, so confirm the live plans page before choosing. The page’s Enterprise listing also distinguishes an unlimited-storage headline from the 5 TB of permanently stored data included in the base price.
| Plan | Single-upload limit | Storage listed | Displayed price | Team-member charge listed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Guest | 20 GB | None | €0 | Not stated |
| Free registered | 20 GB | None | €0 | Not stated |
| Basic | 50 GB | 200 GB | €3.09 / $3.59 | Not stated |
| Pro | 250 GB | 2 TB | €11.59 / $13.19 | €5.79 / $6.59 per additional team member |
| Enterprise | Unlimited | Unlimited listed; base price includes 5 TB for permanently stored data | €21.99 / $24.99 | €21.95 / $24.95 per additional team member |
On the same plans page, end-to-end encryption, password-protected transfers and shares, and a custom subdomain are listed for Pro and Enterprise. The best plan depends on the team’s upload size, persistent storage needs, member count, and required controls—not simply on the largest transfer it has ever sent. Free can suit occasional transfers; the paid plans become more relevant when capacity, speed, recurring storage, team sharing, or custom receiving domains are part of regular operations.

- Expiry: MyAirBridge’s FAQ says free transfers are deleted after three days, or after two days for transfers over 2 GB. Paid-plan expiry choices vary by plan and workflow; the provider’s pages describe different durations and options, so verify the applicable setting before relying on a delivery link.
- Missed downloads: A temporary link can expire before a recipient retrieves it. Set delivery expectations and use persistent storage only when continued availability is necessary.
- Long-term storage: Stored data remains available while the paid profile is active, according to the provider. Assign an owner to review closed projects, former employees’ access, and data that no longer needs to be kept.
- Destructive changes: Limit read/write access and preserve a recovery copy of important files; permission to contribute can also permit moving or deleting content in the permitted area.
- Interrupted transfers: Keep the transfer tab open if a pause-and-resume session may be needed.
- WebDAV on Windows: Test the documented file-size limitation against the actual workflow before relying on operating-system integration for large files.
When MyAirBridge is—and is not—the right fit
MyAirBridge is a credible candidate when the core problem is moving large files, keeping project assets in shared storage, accepting outside uploads, or sharing folders with simple permission levels. Its browser workflow can reduce setup friction for recipients who do not need to install software for ordinary transfers.

Look beyond it as the sole collaboration platform if the team needs live document co-authoring, tasks, calendars, threaded conversations, approvals, extensive audit logs, legal holds, e-discovery, or detailed identity and compliance administration. Teams centered on collaborative documents may prefer Google Workspace; organizations standardized on Microsoft identity and Office may consider Microsoft 365. For broader file synchronization or governance, Dropbox Business and Box are alternatives to assess for their respective needs. These products serve different purposes and should be evaluated against the company’s actual workflow rather than treated as direct equivalents.
MyAirBridge displays major-company logos on its reference page, but the reviewed material does not supply independently verifiable case studies or quantified outcomes for those organizations. The logos are a first-party trust signal, not proof that a particular company saved time or achieved a specific productivity result.
How to evaluate it before adopting it team-wide
Run a representative project workflow rather than judging the service by a single successful download. Verify that upload sizes, external access, retention, and permissions fit the way the team actually works.
Quick Recap
- Upload a representative large file and confirm the chosen plan’s limit.
- Invite an internal teammate, then share a separate folder with an external collaborator.
- Check view-only, read, and read/write behavior using non-critical test files.
- Test password sharing through a separate channel and document how the team will retain end-to-end encryption passwords.
- Pause and resume a transfer, keeping its browser tab available.
- Check expiry, cancellation, and recovery expectations for both transfer links and stored project files.
- Test WebDAV only if operating-system access is needed, particularly for large files on Windows.
- Confirm that folder ownership, backup, archiving, and offboarding responsibilities are clear.
