The company said the round brought its reported total funding at the time to $59 million and would support product development, customer success, education, and its Robotic Operations Center.
The headline amount is historical, not Rewst’s latest disclosed raise: in August 2024, the company announced a separate $45 million capital raise and said its total capital raised had reached $104 million.
What Rewst announced in its $31 million Series B
Rewst’s January 9, 2024 announcement named Meritech Capital as the lead investor, with existing investors OpenView, TDF Ventures, and Florida Funders also participating. Rewst said the Series B brought its total funding to $59 million at that point. Rewst’s announcement and contemporaneous CRN coverage reported the round.
Rewst said it planned to use the proceeds to expand its product, customer success and education efforts, and its Robotic Operations Center (ROC). CEO and founder Aharon Chernin said the company would continue building out the ROC, training, and product, while adding integrations and improving the workflow-building experience.

What Rewst’s platform automates for MSPs
Rewst describes its software as a way for MSPs to automate repeatable work across connected tools. In January 2024, the company said users could install prebuilt automations or create workflows and forms. Examples included:
- User onboarding and offboarding
- Billing reconciliation
- Group membership changes and MFA alerting
- Just-in-time administrator access
- Ticket categorization and prioritization
Rewst described 45 out-of-the-box integrations in that January announcement and positioned the platform as vendor-agnostic. Chernin told CRN, “We always want to be an independent third party. We want to support all the PSAs you could ever select from, we want to support all the RMMs you could ever select from. We’re not going to pick a winner.” That statement describes the company’s approach; it does not establish that every PSA, RMM, or other tool is supported.

Crates, the ROC, and training
Rewst called its prebuilt automations “Crates.” The company described the ROC as a team of in-house automation experts that helps customers and builds or maintains Crates. It also named Cluck University as its training and education resource, and RoboRewsty as an OpenAI-powered assistant embedded in the platform.
Branded apps and custom integrations
Rewst described its App Platform in January 2024 as a low-code way for MSPs to create branded front ends for employees and customers to use workflows and forms. In August 2024, the company described the module as a way to build branded web apps that could bring together tools, data, forms, and automations, with examples such as client self-service portals, analytics, project management, and onboarding.

A June 2024 product update said Rewst then offered more than 50 prebuilt integrations and introduced Custom Integrations. The company said users could supply Swagger or OpenAPI documentation to generate workflow actions, or build legacy API integrations by defining authentication, pagination, and actions themselves. These integration details reflect dated company announcements, not a current integration count.
How the funding story changed after January 2024
In August 2024, Rewst announced a $45 million capital raise led by Sapphire Ventures, with existing investors Meritech Capital and OpenView. The company said this brought total capital raised to $104 million. Its announcement specifies that the $45 million included both primary capital and secondary sales, so it should not be read as $45 million of new primary financing alone.

Rewst also reported the following figures in its August 2024 announcement. They are company-reported metrics for the periods specified, not independently validated current statistics:

For comparison, Rewst’s January 2024 announcement reported more than 700 MSP customers, more than 46 million workflow executions in a recent 30-day period, and more than 251,000 hours of self-reported time savings in that period. Those January and August figures refer to different reporting points and should not be combined as though they describe one period.

What the round indicates—and what it does not
The Series B was intended to fund expansion of Rewst’s product and the teams supporting it. The announcements establish the company’s stated plans and reported growth, but they do not by themselves show how the additional investment affected product quality, customer economics, or MSP-wide automation adoption.
Rewst’s figures describe its own platform and customers, not the MSP market as a whole. Likewise, a customer’s results will depend on its connected systems, chosen automations, and implementation. Network IT Easy Automation Engineer Dustin Lepi told Rewst it was averaging about 75 to 80 hours of time savings per week with the platform; that is a customer-reported example, not a promised or independently measured outcome.
Rewst CEO Aharon Chernin has framed automation as a way to shift staff toward more complex work rather than replace them. In CRN, he said that employees often build the automations and are more likely to do so when the goal is to free them for harder tasks. That is the company’s perspective on adoption, not a guarantee of how automation will affect staffing at every MSP.
