CentriLogic said the acquisition expanded its infrastructure footprint and would help it serve customers in the Caribbean and Southern Hemisphere. The purchase price and detailed terms were not disclosed in contemporaneous coverage.
What Adveniat did
In its 2014 announcement, CentriLogic described Adveniat as an operator of a USVI data center that provided managed hosting and related infrastructure services. The deal added a Caribbean location to CentriLogic’s cloud, managed-hosting, colocation and IT-outsourcing business as the buyer described it at the time.
Centrilogic said the acquisition was its third in the preceding 18 months. It reported that the combined company then had nine data centers in seven markets; those are figures from the 2014 announcement, not current company counts.
Why CentriLogic said it acquired Adveniat
Centrilogic presented the purchase as a way to extend its geographic reach and improve service access for customers in the Caribbean and Southern Hemisphere. It also described the USVI as a telecommunications hub and said the location could serve e-commerce and payment-processing activity.

The announcement highlighted Adveniat’s relationship with the University of the Virgin Islands Research and Technology Park (RTPark). Centrilogic said RTPark had selected Adveniat in 2008 as its first approved strategic partner and that Adveniat was then the exclusive managed-hosting provider to RTPark tenants. These are claims in the buyer’s contemporaneous announcement, not confirmation of the relationship’s present status.
Robert Offley, then CentriLogic’s president and CEO, said: “By acquiring Adveniat we have established Centrilogic as the RTPark’s premier independent gateway and hosting provider, and we are now the first carrier-neutral managed hosting provider in the USVI”. That statement reflects the company’s positioning in 2014; it is not independent verification of market rank or provider status.

What the deal terms were
Data Center Knowledge reported that the terms were not disclosed. The available contemporaneous coverage does not establish a transaction value, so no purchase price can be stated.
What the 2014 announcement said about tax incentives
Centrilogic’s release said RTPark could administer incentives for qualifying knowledge-based and e-commerce businesses, and cited “up to a 90 percent reduction in income tax liability on qualifying revenues.” This was a company-reported claim in 2014, tied to qualifying businesses and revenues. It is not current tax guidance: the available material does not verify present rules, eligibility, compliance requirements or outcomes for any particular business.

Is the former Adveniat data center still operating?
Centrilogic’s current public locations page lists sites in Canada, the continental United States and India, but does not list the USVI. That omission does not establish whether the former Adveniat facility closed, changed ownership or name, or is simply absent from the page. Confirmation from CentriLogic or RTPark would be needed to determine its present operating status.
Centrilogic currently advertises managed infrastructure services including colocation, private cloud, connectivity, disaster recovery and managed hosting. Those offerings describe the company’s current services, not the status or availability of services at the former Adveniat site.
