This is a preview of Omnissa CEO Shankar Iyer’s planned keynote at IGEL Now & Next Miami 2026—not a report confirming that the event took place or describing what was said on stage. The February 27, 2026 CIO BrandPost was written by Omnissa’s Sachin Sharma and sponsored by IGEL, so its platform and security claims are vendor messaging.

What the announcement covered

The BrandPost previewed Iyer as a planned main-stage speaker at IGEL Now & Next Miami 2026, advertised for March 30–April 2 at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. It described the event as bringing together technology companies including Microsoft, HP, Lenovo, Omnissa and Zscaler, alongside CIOs, CISOs and IT professionals.

The article framed the vendors’ roles as complementary: Omnissa’s digital-work platform paired with IGEL’s secure, immutable endpoint foundation. It described Omnissa’s platform as combining unified endpoint management, virtual desktops and apps, digital employee experience and security in an integrated control plane.

How the proposed model is supposed to work

In the sponsor’s account, telemetry, automation and policy orchestration would help IT teams identify and resolve issues in real time, while adapting controls to users and context across the workspace. These are descriptions of intended capabilities, not independently verified performance results. The announcement supplied no measured security, cost or productivity outcomes.

Iyer summarized the positioning this way: “Great tools are not enough to secure the modern enterprise; an AI-driven platform that adapts in real time to context from across the workspace can help organizations proactively reduce security risk while enabling employees to achieve what’s possible, without friction, from anywhere,” says Iyer. He also said: “Digital work shouldn’t be something stagnant. It should adapt to your users, policies, and business automatically.”

What readers can and cannot conclude

The announcement presents a vision for connecting endpoint security, device and app management, virtual workspaces and employee experience. It does not compare competing platforms, recommend a particular device, or establish that the proposed approach reduces risk or improves productivity in practice.

Because the advertised event dates—March 30 through April 2, 2026—have passed, this pre-event article alone cannot confirm that the event occurred as scheduled, whether Iyer delivered the keynote, what he said on stage, or what outcomes followed. Those details require a post-event account or other independent confirmation.
