No. T-Mobile no longer offers its 2TB Google One plan with unlimited Google Photos storage. New enrollment ended September 30, 2025, and the legacy unlimited-Photos benefit ended when billing and support moved to Google on March 31, 2026, according to 9to5Google and Android Authority. Google’s current plans use a shared storage allowance for Photos, Drive, and Gmail rather than the former T-Mobile unlimited-Photos arrangement.

What T-Mobile’s Google One offer included

T-Mobile announced its Google One offer on October 4, 2021. The launch terms described 500 GB for $5 per month and 2 TB for $10 per month. Those are historical prices from the announcement, not current offers. T-Mobile said the plans were available to customers with Android or iOS devices on consumer postpaid plans, and that storage could be used across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos and shared with up to five additional people. A Google account and qualifying service were required; taxes and fees could apply. T-Mobile’s announcement said: “Google One for T‑Mobile is available for customers with Android and iOS devices on consumer postpaid plans.”

The distinctive 2 TB plan with unlimited Google Photos storage was a later T-Mobile-associated tier. A March 2026 report described the historical offer at $15 per month; that reported price should not be treated as a current subscription price. 9to5Google’s report covers the later tier and its end.

When enrollment and the unlimited-Photos benefit ended

According to March 2026 reporting, T-Mobile stopped accepting new Google One enrollments effective September 30, 2025. Existing carrier-managed subscriptions then moved to Google billing and support on March 31, 2026. The transition ended availability of the former T-Mobile 500 GB and 2 TB-plus-unlimited-Photos plans, including the special unlimited Photos benefit. 9to5Google and Android Authority report the change.

If you previously subscribed through T-Mobile, check your Google account and current billing details for the plan now attached to your subscription. The reports describe a transition to Google-managed billing and support, but do not establish account-specific steps for every subscriber. Contact Google support if the subscription, billing status, or storage shown in your account does not match what you expect.

What Google’s current storage plans do instead

Google’s current plan page describes storage shared among Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail. It lists plans including 2 TB Google AI Plus and 5 TB Google AI Pro, but does not list the former T-Mobile plan with unlimited Photos storage. Names, features, and pricing can vary by country, so check Google’s current plan page for the options and price available in your region.

That shared-storage setup differs from the old T-Mobile arrangement: Photos, Drive, and Gmail draw from a stated storage pool rather than Photos being unlimited alongside a 2 TB allowance. Compare the total capacity you need, the regional price, and any included services before choosing a replacement.

Choosing between cloud storage and a local backup

A Google plan provides cloud storage accessible through Google’s services, subject to its current plan terms. An external drive or SSD can keep a separate local copy of photos, but it does not provide unlimited cloud backup or the same online access. If your goal is resilience, consider whether you want cloud access, a separate local copy, or both; a local drive is an additional backup, not a substitute for the discontinued T-Mobile benefit.
