Omnissa launched a redesigned partner program on March 24, 2025, with three tiers—Platinum, Gold and Silver—and three partner models: reseller, service provider and technology partner. The program is intended to make it easier for partners to sell, deliver and extend Omnissa’s digital-workspace products, including Workspace ONE and Horizon. The launch announcement describes margin increases, joint account-team access, training funds and a points-based rewards system, but does not publish specific margin rates or full eligibility terms.

What is the Omnissa Partner Program?

Omnissa’s program is a framework for companies that resell its products, provide services around them, or build technology integrations. Omnissa says it redesigned the inherited program with partner input to reduce complexity and offer a performance-based progression path, with incentives and enablement suited to different business models. Omnissa’s March 24, 2025 announcement presents the change as part of a wider shift toward subscription sales and channel-led delivery.

The program concerns enterprise software and related services, not physical products. Workspace ONE is Omnissa’s platform for unified endpoint and workspace management. Horizon provides virtual desktops and applications in cloud and on-premises environments. Partner enablement and certifications are focused on these products.

What are the partner tiers and business models?

The program has three tiers and recognizes three ways to work with Omnissa. The announcement does not publish tier thresholds, qualification rules or a complete enrollment policy.

Program element Options What it means
Tier Platinum, Gold, Silver A performance-based progression framework; specific requirements for each level are not stated in the launch announcement.
Business model Reseller Partners sell Omnissa products to customers.
Business model Service provider Partners deliver services around Omnissa products, such as implementation or ongoing customer support.
Business model Technology partner Partners work with Omnissa on technology integrations or complementary solutions.

These models can serve different customer needs. A reseller may focus on product sales; a service provider may help customers implement, operate or optimize deployments; and a technology partner may extend the platform through integrations. Omnissa and CRN have also described opportunities around device management, security, role-based access control, vendor consolidation and broader customer-outcome projects. The precise scope depends on the partner relationship and customer engagement.

What benefits did Omnissa announce?

  • Front-end margin increases: Omnissa announced increased margins, but did not publish rates, qualifying products, or whether a particular margin is guaranteed.
  • Joint account-team access: Partners may work with Omnissa account teams; the announcement does not specify coverage or access by tier.
  • Training funds: The program includes training funds, without public amounts or allocation rules in the launch announcement.
  • Points-based rewards: A unified points system recognizes accomplishments across transactions and service delivery. The announcement does not set out point values or redemption terms.
  • Training and certification: Enablement is tailored to partner models and centers on Workspace ONE and Horizon.
  • Performance reporting: Omnissa said an intuitive real-time performance dashboard was coming soon in March 2025. That announcement does not establish whether the dashboard is now available or what functions it includes.

Omnissa’s stated aim is to make the program more efficient and commercially useful for partners. Its launch announcement includes comments from CDW, Evolia, Tech Orchard, Xtravirt and EBF describing the new framework as supportive of growth, service delivery or simpler engagement. Those testimonials are partner perspectives, not a published guarantee of financial results.

How does the program differ from VMware EUC?

Omnissa is the former VMware End-User Computing (EUC) business, which became an independent company in 2024 after KKR acquired it from Broadcom. The March 2025 partner program is Omnissa’s redesigned framework for its own partner ecosystem; it is not simply a change of name for a VMware EUC product.

In its launch materials, Omnissa describes the redesign as a clearer, performance-based program intended to reduce inherited complexity and better support subscription sales and channel delivery. CRN reported that Omnissa was moving nearly 100 percent away from providing services itself and toward channel delivery, citing Kevin Norlin, the company’s head of revenue and senior vice president of global sales. This points to an emphasis on partner-led services, but does not itself define the responsibilities or commercial terms of an individual partner agreement.

What should a prospective partner confirm?

The public launch materials explain the framework and headline benefits, but leave important commercial and operational details open. Before deciding whether to join or estimating potential revenue, ask Omnissa for the current program terms through its official partner portal or a partner business manager. Confirm:

  • Which tier and business model fit your organization, and the exact requirements to qualify or advance.
  • How margins, points, training funds and any other incentives are calculated, including eligible products, transactions and service activity.
  • Whether joint account-team support is available for your territory and customer opportunities.
  • Which Workspace ONE and Horizon training or certifications apply to your role and whether costs are covered.
  • Whether the announced performance dashboard is available, what data it provides, and how often it updates.
  • Current geographic eligibility, enrollment steps, contractual responsibilities and any rules for referrals or customer ownership.

The sources cited for the March 2025 launch do not state commission rates, referral fees, cookie terms, geographic eligibility or guaranteed margins. Those terms should not be inferred from the general description of program benefits.
