NVIDIA Blackwell GPU Costs: What You’ll Pay for the GPU Alone in 2026

Blackwell launch MSRPs ranged from $299 to $1,999, but August 2026 U.S. retail medians were much higher. Here are the card-only prices for GeForce, RTX PRO and B200, with the distinctions that matter.

For consumer GeForce Blackwell cards, launch MSRPs ran from $299 for the RTX 5060 to $1,999 for the RTX 5090. Actual U.S. retail medians were substantially higher by August 2026: Tom’s Hardware’s Newegg tracking put the RTX 5090 at $4,699.99. Professional and data-center Blackwell products are separate markets: the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell was listed at $13,250, while NVIDIA does not publish a normal standalone retail price for the B200.

Consumer GeForce Blackwell prices

The figures below separate NVIDIA’s launch MSRP from a current U.S. retail reference. The retail numbers are medians across Newegg listings reported by Tom’s Hardware on August 10, 2026, not guaranteed prices for every board partner, seller or region.

Model Launch MSRP U.S. retail median (August 2026) How to read it
GeForce RTX 5060 $299 $469.99 Entry consumer Blackwell card
GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB $379 $529.99 8GB version
GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB $429 $804.99 16GB version; substantially higher retail premium
GeForce RTX 5070 $549 $899.99 Consumer mid-range model
GeForce RTX 5070 Ti $749 $1,099.99 Higher-tier 5070 model
GeForce RTX 5080 $999 $1,499.99 High-end consumer card
GeForce RTX 5090 $1,999 $4,699.99 Flagship consumer card; median was more than twice launch MSRP

Launch prices for the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti and 5070 came from NVIDIA’s Blackwell GeForce announcement. NVIDIA’s April 15, 2025 announcement placed the RTX 5060 family at $299, with the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB at $379 and 16GB at $429. MSRP is a launch reference, not a promise that a card is currently in stock at that price.

What the RTX 5090 price represents

The RTX 5090 is a discrete graphics card powered by NVIDIA Blackwell with 32GB of GDDR7 memory. “RTX 5090” is not one universal product: board-partner versions can have different coolers, power limits, factory overclocks, warranties and prices. A listing for the card alone therefore differs from the cost of a complete PC or workstation built around it.

How much prices can move between listings

Individual listings can differ sharply from a market median. In a September 1, 2026 report, Tom’s Hardware found the cheapest U.S. RTX 5090 it located at $4,999 for a Zotac Solid OC model and another premium model at $6,000. The same report cited a $1,549 RTX 5080, a $1,119 RTX 5070 Ti and a $448 RTX 5060 at the retailers checked. Those are dated individual listings, not representative medians.

  • Model and memory: The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB median was $804.99, compared with $529.99 for the 8GB version.
  • Board partner: Cooling hardware, factory tuning, power limits and warranty coverage can change the price of otherwise similar GPUs.
  • Availability: Stock shortages and seller mix can push a listing well above launch MSRP.
  • Geography and date: All current figures above are U.S. references from 2026; prices elsewhere and later prices may be different.

Professional workstation Blackwell pricing

The RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell is a workstation-class card rather than a GeForce gaming product. NVIDIA’s Marketplace listing was reported at $13,250 in June 2026. That compares with a reported $8,565 launch price in March 2025. These are standalone professional-card figures, but the product is aimed at workstation deployments and carries a different positioning, support model and buyer base than GeForce.

Why a B200 GPU-only price is difficult to quote

NVIDIA’s B200 is a data-center accelerator normally purchased through server and platform channels, not as a consumer retail card. NVIDIA describes HGX B200 as a board linking eight B200 GPUs through NVLink. Its DGX B200 documentation specifies eight B200 GPUs and 1,440GB of total GPU memory.

The cited NVIDIA materials do not publish a normal standalone B200 MSRP. A server quotation or an amount inferred by dividing a complete HGX or DGX system price by eight is not an official GPU-only price and should not be presented as one. To establish a true card-only cost, a supplier would need to itemize the B200 component separately from the host system, networking, cooling, storage, support and other platform hardware.

What “just the GPU” includes—and excludes

For GeForce and RTX PRO products, “just the GPU” generally means the physical graphics card, without a complete computer. The card price still reflects the board design selected by the manufacturer. It does not automatically include a CPU, motherboard, memory, power supply, case, operating system, monitor or installation.

For B200, the phrase is more complicated because NVIDIA sells the accelerator in infrastructure configurations. Treat a quoted B200 price as a system or server price unless the vendor explicitly identifies a standalone accelerator component.

Quick Recap

How to use these numbers when budgeting

  1. Choose the segment first. Decide whether you need a GeForce gaming card, an RTX PRO workstation card or a B200-class data-center accelerator.
  2. Set the comparison baseline. Use launch MSRP to measure NVIDIA’s announced positioning, but use a dated local listing or median to estimate what you can actually spend.
  3. Match the exact variant. Confirm memory capacity, board partner, cooler, factory overclock and warranty before comparing two listings.
  4. Check the purchase scope. Confirm that the quote is for the card alone rather than a complete PC, workstation or HGX/DGX platform.
  5. Recheck date and region. Blackwell prices are volatile; a U.S. August or September 2026 figure cannot be assumed to apply in another country or at a later date.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
