Yes—but only as a past promotion. Samsung UK offered qualifying Galaxy Z Fold7 buyers a free Galaxy Chromebook Go 14-inch for purchases made on Samsung.com from 20 August to 2 October 2025. It was a redemption offer, not a laptop automatically included with every phone, and it is not a live Fold7 deal in 2026.
What was the free laptop offer?
Samsung’s UK promotion gave eligible Galaxy Z Fold7 purchasers a Galaxy Chromebook Go 14-inch. Promotion terms identify the reward SKU as XE340XDA-KA2UK. A copy of the terms is hosted by Tesco Mobile.
“Free laptop” is shorthand: the reward was a Chromebook running ChromeOS, not a Windows Galaxy Book or a cash-equivalent voucher. The available evidence does not establish a verified current UK retail price for that reward model.
Who qualified?
The confirmed Samsung wording covered purchases made from Samsung.com between 20 August and 2 October 2025. The eligible phone was the Galaxy Z Fold7, identified in the terms by model code SM-F966B.

- The order had to be through the qualifying Samsung sales channel.
- The customer had to submit a claim with proof of purchase and the requested details.
- Exact storage, colour, order-type and exclusion rules depended on the full promotion terms.
Copies of the terms on Vodafone or Tesco websites confirm the historical promotion, but they do not prove that every purchase from those networks or from every UK retailer qualified. Retailer-specific offers may have had separate conditions.
How the claim worked
- Buy an eligible Galaxy Z Fold7 from Samsung.com during the promotional purchase period.
- Open Samsung’s promotion claims portal: samsungoffers.claims/galaxygift2025.
- Upload acceptable proof of purchase.
- Enter the requested order and personal details, then submit the claim within the deadline stated in the promotion terms.
The Chromebook was therefore a reward requiring a successful claim, not an item guaranteed to arrive in the phone’s retail box. The exact redemption deadline and remedies for rejected claims should be taken from the original terms or Samsung support; they are not established here.
Is the promotion still available?
No new purchase can qualify under the documented promotion because its purchase window ended on 2 October 2025. Samsung’s current UK offers page lists later promotions and trade-in mechanisms, but the Galaxy Chromebook Go reward is a historical 2025 offer rather than a current Fold7 incentive.

Do not treat old videos, search snippets or the archived claims URL as proof of a live deal. If Samsung launches a new promotion, it will need its own dates and terms.

Check these details before contacting support:
- Your Samsung order date and invoice.
- Whether the order was placed on Samsung.com.
- The exact Fold7 model and edition.
- Your claim-confirmation email or reference.
- Whether the order was cancelled, returned or duplicated.
- Whether uploaded documents were legible and matched the order.
A purchase outside the dates, a non-qualifying retailer order, missing proof, a late or duplicate claim, or a returned phone could all prevent fulfilment. For a claim submitted on time but rejected, delayed or apparently lost, contact Samsung UK support rather than submitting a new claim through an expired page.
What the Chromebook could—and could not—replace
ChromeOS is well suited to web browsing, email, streaming, schoolwork and Google Workspace. A physical keyboard and laptop-sized display can make long documents more comfortable than working on a phone.

It is not a direct replacement for a Windows computer where you need specialist desktop software, some games or demanding creative applications. Samsung’s Fold7 also supports multitasking and DeX on its large internal display, but DeX does not provide the same built-in keyboard, laptop chassis or ChromeOS environment.
Do not confuse this offer with the launch deals

Those are launch figures, not current 2026 prices. Pre-orders opened on 9 July 2025 and general availability began on 25 July 2025. Launch incentives included storage upgrades, trade-in benefits, a £100 New Galaxy Club discount and a 100-day return promotion for eligible purchases made by 19 August 2025. What can buyers check instead?
- Samsung UK offers for current trade-in and promotional terms.
- Samsung’s Galaxy Z buying page for live Fold7 availability and pricing.
- Samsung Certified Re-Newed for an official refurbished Fold7 route. This is not a replacement free-laptop bundle.
- Samsung support for protection-plan and purchase-support information. Any 2025 Samsung Care+ promotion should not be assumed to continue.
Buy the Fold7 because its features and price make sense for you today—not because an expired Chromebook incentive appears in an old headline. If a current offer matters, read its purchase channel, dates, qualifying models and redemption instructions before paying.

Is Samsung’s free laptop deal with the Galaxy Z Fold7 still live?
No. The documented Samsung.com purchase period ended on 2 October 2025, so it should be treated as expired unless Samsung publishes a new promotion.

Did every Galaxy Z Fold7 buyer qualify?
No. Eligibility depended on the qualifying Samsung.com channel, purchase dates, model rules and a successful online claim.
Could a mobile-network purchase qualify?
The confirmed wording covers Samsung.com purchases. A network or other retailer may have had separate terms; do not assume it qualified.
Was the Chromebook sent automatically?
No. Customers had to use Samsung’s claims portal, provide proof of purchase and submit the requested information.

They serve different purposes. The Chromebook offers a physical keyboard and ChromeOS; DeX keeps work on the Fold7 and is more portable but is not a full laptop operating environment.
