Best overall: Tesco Mobile’s listed 100GB SIM-only plan at £14 a month for 12 months with a free Clubcard. That is £168 over the minimum term, with unlimited minutes and texts, 4G/5G access and no EU roaming fees listed. The same £14 Clubcard price is shown for 60GB over 24 months, so the 100GB plan offers more data and less commitment.
For a lower bill, the listed 12GB plan is £9.50 a month for 12 months (£114 total). Heavy users can choose unlimited data at £22 a month for 12 months (£264), subject to fair-use terms. These prices and stock were checked on 18 August 2026; confirm the basket and contract summary before ordering.

Best Tesco Mobile SIM-only deals
Best overall: 100GB for £14 a month
The listed 100GB Clubcard Price combines a large allowance with a 12-month term. It includes unlimited minutes and texts, 4G/5G and no EU roaming fees listed. At £168 for the minimum term, it is more flexible than the 60GB offer that costs the same monthly amount for 24 months.

Cheapest sensible option: 12GB for £9.50 a month
This 12-month plan costs £114 in total and suits messaging, navigation, music, social media and occasional video. Do not pay for 100GB simply because its price looks attractive if you normally use little data.
When the 60GB plan makes sense
The 60GB plan is listed at £14 a month for 24 months (£336). It may suit someone who consistently needs that allowance, but the identical monthly price and shorter term of the 100GB plan make the 24-month commitment difficult to justify for most buyers.
Best unlimited-data option
Unlimited data is listed at £22 a month for 12 months (£264), with unlimited calls and texts. Choose it if you regularly exceed large capped plans or tether heavily. “Unlimited” remains subject to Tesco’s fair-use rules and is not a guarantee of unrestricted commercial or unusually excessive use.

Clubcard: what the headline price really means
Tesco’s Clubcard Prices require a Clubcard number. Joining the standard Clubcard scheme is free; Clubcard Plus is a separate subscription and is not required for ordinary Clubcard pricing. Selected pay-monthly phones, SIMs and other products receive the discount, not every tariff.
Tesco says the basic monthly usage price on a Clubcard Price deal is frozen for the minimum contract period. That does not mean every future bill is permanently fixed: charges can change after the minimum term, and other services or usage can cost extra. Non-Clubcard contracts have separate annual-increase rules; customers joining from 17 December 2024 should see future increases in pounds and pence for the minimum term. Read the wording at checkout on Tesco’s pricing page.
Clubcard Plus is listed at £7.99 a month and can provide double mobile data on one account subject to conditions. Add that subscription to your calculation only if you would buy it anyway or the extra data genuinely saves money.

- Unlocked: Compatible with all major U.S. carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and other major carriers.
- Super-bright 6.7" display + Bass Boost: Take your entertainment to the next level with a fast-refreshing 120Hz display* and stereo sound with more powerful bass****.
- 50MP** Quad Pixel camera system: Capture sharper photos day or night with 4x the light sensitivity—and share beautiful selfies with a 16MP front camera.
- Superfast 5G performance*****: Unleash your entertainment at 5G speed with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and up to 12GB of RAM with RAM Boost.******
- Long-lasting battery + TurboPower charging***: Work and play all day with a 5000mAh battery, then get hours of power in just minutes.
Pay-monthly iPhone, Samsung and Android deals
iPhone bundles
Tesco lists an iPhone 17 with iPad bundle at £44.99 a month with Clubcard Price, 6GB data, £30 in Clubcard points and an advertised £108 saving. It is worth considering only if you want both devices. Compare the complete contract cost with an iPhone bought SIM-free plus a separate SIM-only plan; points are Tesco rewards, not cash.
Tesco’s pay-monthly page also advertises Apple service trials on selected products. Verify the exact benefit, term and cancellation requirements in the live product summary.
Premium Android
A Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra listing shows a 36-month device contract, £49.99 a month with Clubcard Price (the standard figure shown is £51.99) and 3GB data. Tesco pages have displayed different promotional snapshots and device totals, so do not combine figures from search results. Use the live basket to confirm the upfront payment, device total, airtime cost and any reward.

- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).

Google Pixel and mid-range Samsung
Tesco advertises savings of up to £612 plus £50 in Clubcard points on the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, and up to £252 plus £30 in points on the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G. “Save up to” is not a like-for-like market comparison: establish the reference price and calculate the complete contract before deciding.
Why a low monthly handset price can mislead
Many phone deals separate handset finance from airtime and can run for 36 months. Check the device finance length, total device cost, airtime price, upfront payment and whether airtime de-links after 24 months. A long term can leave you paying for an ageing phone or paying airtime after the handset balance is cleared.
PAYG and SIM-free options
Tesco’s PAYG promotions list the Motorola Moto G06 Power at £69 and TCL 605 at £63 when bought with a £10 top-up and Clubcard. The initial outlay is therefore £79 or £73, although the top-up remains usable account credit. PAYG avoids a long credit agreement and suits children, emergency phones and temporary use. Activate a bundle, set spending controls and disable mobile data when necessary to avoid consuming credit unexpectedly.

SIM-free phones let you choose another network or SIM-only plan. Tesco’s phone shop lists SIM-free products, but the available prices do not establish that Tesco is the cheapest retailer for any particular model. Compare the outright price with the total of a financed handset and airtime.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Coverage, compatibility and roaming
Network coverage
Tesco Mobile uses O2’s network infrastructure and advertises 99% UK coverage. That is a population/geographical marketing claim, not a promise of indoor signal or a particular speed at your address. Check home, work and regular travel locations with Tesco’s coverage information before committing.
4G Calling and 5G
The UK 3G network has been withdrawn. Confirm that an existing phone supports 4G Calling/VoLTE before buying SIM-only; an older 3G-only handset may not work reliably.
EU and international roaming
The featured SIM-only pages list no EU roaming fees. Tesco’s roaming terms say qualifying Clubcard Price contracts still within their minimum term can continue to receive no EU roaming fees after 2026, subject to the Home From Home destinations and fair-use provisions. This is not worldwide free roaming: non-EU destinations, premium-rate or international numbers and excess use can be charged. Check the destination list and data-roaming guide.

- Already have a suitable phone? Compare SIM-only plans first. If the handset is obsolete, price the phone and airtime separately.
- Need a Clubcard Price? Use a free Clubcard, then compare the discounted total with the non-Clubcard price and alternative networks.
- Match data to usage. Around 1–5GB suits light users; 10–20GB covers typical social, navigation and music use; 30–100GB suits heavy streaming or hotspot use; unlimited is for people who genuinely exceed large allowances.
- Value flexibility. Prefer a 12-month term when a similar 24-month plan costs the same per month.
- Travel regularly? Confirm the exact countries, fair-use limits and charges before ordering.
Checklist before ordering
- Enter and verify your Clubcard number.
- Check coverage at home, work and usual travel locations.
- Confirm 4G Calling/VoLTE compatibility.
- Multiply the monthly charge by every month in the minimum term.
- Record the handset total, airtime cost, upfront payment and any de-linking date.
- Read price-rise wording and what happens after the minimum term.
- Check roaming destinations and fair-use rules.
- Treat points, vouchers and tablets as separate value, not an automatic cash discount.
- Review credit, cooling-off, cancellation, trade-in, stock and delivery terms.
Existing customers may see different upgrade eligibility and prices in My Account, the Tesco Mobile app or a Phone Shop. Pay-monthly handset agreements involve credit checks; Tesco Mobile states that it is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for its credit offering.
The Bottom Line
For most buyers, the listed 100GB Clubcard SIM-only plan at £14 a month for 12 months is Tesco Mobile’s strongest combination of price, data and flexibility. Choose the £9.50 12GB plan for the lowest regular bill, or £22 unlimited for genuinely heavy use. For phones, judge the complete device-and-airtime cost—not the headline monthly payment—and confirm every term at checkout.
