To remove a card saved directly by Roblox, sign in at Roblox.com in a web browser, open Settings, choose Payment Methods, select the saved card, and use the available delete or remove control. Confirm if prompted. Roblox says payment methods cannot be updated in the Roblox mobile app.
Deleting that saved method does not cancel a subscription or remove a card held by Apple, Google Play, a console account, a browser, or another payment processor.
Remove a saved card from Roblox in a browser
- Sign in to the Roblox account that contains the card.
- Open Settings. You can start from the account page at roblox.com/my/account.
- Open Payment Methods.
- Select the saved credit or debit card.
- Choose the available delete or remove control, then confirm.
- Return to Payment Methods or begin checkout to verify that the card is no longer listed.
Roblox documents payment-method deletion from the Payment Methods area or from payment-method controls during checkout. Button names and icons can vary by account, country, and interface version, so use the control presented for the selected card rather than relying on a particular icon.

Can you remove the card in the Roblox app?
Not according to Roblox’s current support documentation. Payment methods cannot be updated from the Roblox mobile app. Open Roblox.com in Safari, Chrome, or another browser instead, sign in, and follow Settings > Payment Methods.
A card shown while buying in the app may still be available because the transaction is being handled by Apple or Google Play. That is a different payment record from a card saved in Roblox’s web checkout.
First identify where the card is actually stored
The original purchase route determines where you must remove the payment method. A card displayed at checkout is not automatically stored by Roblox.

Roblox identifies Stripe and Xsolla as payment companies that handle Roblox payments. Stripe card saving is available only in select countries, and a user must explicitly opt in for details to be saved for future purchases. The storage location therefore depends on how and where the original transaction was processed.

If the card still appears after you delete it
- Check browser autofill: The browser may suggest a card independently of Roblox. Remove it from the browser’s saved payment methods if you want the suggestion gone.
- Check Apple or Google: A card attached to Apple Account or Google Play can continue to appear for in-app purchases.
- Check the account: Sign out and verify that you are using the Roblox account where the card was originally saved. A parent may have saved it on a different account.
- Check subscriptions: A recurring subscription may continue to use its billing arrangement even after a general payment method is removed.
- Check the processor: A checkout branded Xsolla or another provider may have its own payment controls.
- Contact Roblox: If the card remains under Roblox’s Payment Methods settings after deletion, use Roblox Support.
Deleting a card does not cancel a subscription
Removing a saved card and stopping recurring billing are separate actions. For an in-experience subscription purchased in local currency through Roblox, use this path:
- Sign in to Roblox.
- Open Settings.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Select the subscription and open its details.
- Choose Cancel Renewal and follow the prompts.
Roblox recommends canceling at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it generally does not refund the current billing period, and benefits continue until that period ends. Read the current rules at Roblox Subscriptions within Experiences.
Subscriptions billed through Apple or Google Play may also be managed in the device’s subscription settings. Removing a Roblox web card alone will not cancel those store subscriptions.
Removing cards used through iPhone, iPad, or Android
Apple billing
For an iPhone or iPad purchase, review the payment method and subscription in your Apple Account settings. Roblox cannot delete a card that is stored by Apple. Cancel the relevant subscription through Apple when Apple is the billing provider.

Google Play billing
For an Android purchase, review Google Play payment methods and subscriptions. Roblox cannot delete a card held in your Google payment profile. A single Apple ID or Google account on a device can be linked to only one Roblox account for local-currency in-experience subscriptions, so verify which Roblox account is connected.
Console and other platform billing
Purchases made through Microsoft/Xbox, PlayStation, Amazon, Meta Quest, Samsung, or another platform must be managed through that platform. Roblox directs users to the relevant provider for platform-level payment controls and refunds.
Why Payment Methods may be missing
If you cannot find a Payment Methods tab or card, treat these as troubleshooting possibilities rather than guaranteed explanations:
- You are signed into a different Roblox account.
- The purchase was made through a mobile, console, or other platform store.
- The card is browser autofill rather than an account-level Roblox method.
- You are trying to stop a subscription instead of remove a general payment method.
- The account is not eligible for saved cards.
- Roblox needs to investigate or remove an association through Support.
Roblox says saved-card functionality is restricted to users aged 18 or older and is unavailable in Argentina, China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Availability can also vary by country, payment processor, account, and platform.

Parents: removing the card is only one safeguard
If the goal is to prevent a child from spending, complete the following sequence:
- Remove the card from Roblox and from any Apple, Google, console, or browser account that can use it.
- Cancel active recurring subscriptions.
- Turn on device-level purchase authentication or approval.
- Link a parent account where appropriate.
- In Roblox, open Settings > Parental Controls and set a monthly spending limit and spending notifications.
- Review every Roblox account and device that has access to the card.
Roblox describes linked parent accounts, spending limits, and notifications at Roblox Parental Controls. Spending controls reduce risk but do not replace removing credentials or canceling an active subscription.
What to do about an unauthorized Roblox charge
Deleting the card does not investigate a charge that already happened. Preserve the receipt and contact the correct provider promptly. Roblox instructs users to contact Roblox Customer Support before disputing applicable credit-card, PayPal, or Google Play charges; a charge already disputed with a payment provider may not be eligible for a direct Roblox refund.
Include the charge date and amount, billing name, last four digits of the card, your Roblox username if known, and the PayPal email or Google Play purchase number when applicable. Attach relevant receipts or screenshots. Never send a full card number, security code, password, or verification code.

- Double check if the URL/website is genuine before entering card details online. Do not provide any gift card details (example: claim code) to someone you do not know or trust. There are a variety of scams in which fraudsters try to trick others into paying with gift cards.
- If you believe that your Card has been lost or stolen, notify Mastercard immediately by calling 1-833-791-7288. You will be asked to provide the Gift Card number and other identifying information.
- Use your Mastercard Gift Card in the U.S. everywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted, including online. Your Amazon.com Balance cannot be used to purchase Mastercard gift cards.
- A statement descriptor beginning Xsolla*Roblox should be handled through Xsolla Support.
- A descriptor showing Roblox without the Xsolla prefix should be reported through Roblox Support.
For suspected card theft or continuing fraudulent activity, contact your bank or card issuer as well, while following the applicable Roblox or platform process.
Does removing the card erase all billing information?
No. Removing a selectable saved payment method is not the same as deleting transaction history or every billing record. Roblox’s privacy materials explain that payment processors may retain billing information, transaction details, and purchase history for billing, security, and legal purposes. When a user opts to save card details through a processor, Roblox says the full saved billing information may be held by that processor rather than being stored or accessible by Roblox itself. Quick decision guide
- Card listed in Roblox Settings: Delete it in the browser under Payment Methods.
- Card appears only in the app: Check Apple Account or Google Play.
- Card is tied to a renewal: Cancel the subscription separately, then manage the card where it is stored.
- Card appears after deletion in a browser: Remove browser autofill data.
- No Payment Methods tab: Verify account, platform, age, country, and purchase route, then contact Support if necessary.
- Unexpected charge: Preserve details and contact Roblox, Xsolla, or the platform before disputing when Roblox’s process applies.
The Bottom Line
Use a browser to delete a card under Roblox Settings > Payment Methods. Then separately cancel subscriptions and remove payment methods from Apple, Google Play, consoles, browsers, or third-party processors that may control the actual billing.
