Do not rely on phone numbers copied from search results. The right remedy may be controlled by Priceline, an airline, hotel, rental-car company, activity operator, insurer, or your card issuer.
The fastest way to reach Priceline about an existing booking
- Open Priceline’s official trip lookup page or sign in and choose My Trips.
- Select Hotel, Flight, Car, or Package.
- Enter the email address and phone number used at checkout.
- Choose Email Me or Text Me, open the returned trip link, and read the itinerary’s cancellation, change, and refund conditions.
If the trip is missing, check spelling, try the booking email rather than another traveler’s address, search spam and promotions folders, and confirm whether you used a different Priceline channel or partner. Have the traveler name, charge date, amount, and any confirmation or itinerary number ready before contacting support.
Priceline’s official site links to its Help Center and advertises round-the-clock help. That describes the support ecosystem, not a promise that a live human agent is continuously available for every issue.

Priceline says Penny is available on its website and iOS and Android apps. Its Penny information page says it can help manage trips, connect customers with support, check refund status, and perform selected actions. The same page warns that Penny may make mistakes and advises against sharing personal information in chat. Chat exchanges may be recorded for quality review.

The official Android listing is Google Play’s Priceline app page, which identifies Priceline.com LLC as developer. Use the current official app rather than an imitation.
What to have ready before contacting support
- Priceline itinerary or confirmation number.
- Booking type and exact traveler or guest name.
- Booking email and phone number.
- Dates, route, property, pickup location, or activity meeting point.
- Charge date, amount, and—only through a secure official channel—the last four card digits.
- Screenshots of the original price, change or cancellation terms, error messages, supplier notices, and schedule changes.
- A short dated timeline and one specific remedy you want.
Never send a full card number, CVV, password, Social Security number, or passport image in ordinary chat. Provide identity documents only when an authenticated official process clearly requires them.
What to ask so you get a usable answer
- “Is this booking refundable, partially refundable, or nonrefundable under the exact terms attached to my itinerary?”
- “What is the total cancellation or change fee, and will a new rate apply?”
- “Will the remedy be a card refund, airline credit, Priceline credit, waiver, or no refund?”
- “Who is issuing the money—the airline, hotel, rental company, Priceline, or a payment processor?”
- “What is the expected processing date, and when should the credit appear at my bank?”
- “Are there separate tickets or separate supplier reservations, and could changing one affect another?”
- “Please give me the case number and written confirmation of what was agreed.”
- “If this cannot be approved, what exact policy reason and escalation path apply?”
Keep eligibility separate from processing. A representative may submit a request without promising approval, and an approved refund may still be pending with a bank or payment processor.

How cancellations, changes, and refunds really work
Priceline’s terms state that bookings are not automatically eligible for changes or cancellations. The applicable supplier terms control. A permitted change can carry a supplier fee and be repriced at the current rate.

Express Deals and Pricebreaker bookings are generally noncancelable, nonrefundable, nonchangeable, and nontransferable unless the checkout page or itinerary expressly says otherwise. A phrase such as “cancel up to 24 hours before check-in” is an example of a possible rule, not a universal Priceline policy.
Refunds, credits, and payment processing
Terms may provide a cash refund, a supplier or Priceline credit, a waiver, or no remedy. Priceline says refunds may return to the original payment method or use another process, including Hyperwallet in some situations. A bank, card issuer, payment provider, or currency conversion can affect the credited amount. Verify whether your case is approved, sent, pending at the bank, issued through Hyperwallet, denied under supplier rules, or converted to credit.

Flight-specific limits
The flight contract is with the relevant airline, and airline conditions of carriage apply. Separate-ticket itineraries can leave you responsible for a missed connection caused by another ticket. Ask whether your reservation is one protected ticket or multiple separate bookings.
Supplier or Priceline changes
Priceline’s terms describe reasonable efforts to notify customers and, where possible, offer alternatives, assistance, or a refund when a booking changes. No automatic full refund should be assumed.

Troubleshooting common Priceline problems
Charged but no confirmation
- Check My Trips and the trip-lookup page.
- Search spam, promotions, and text messages.
- Record the charge date and amount.
- Do not make a duplicate booking until Priceline confirms whether the first transaction exists.
- Request a written determination of whether the charge is an authorization, completed transaction, or duplicate.
Trip cannot be found
Retry with the exact checkout email and phone number, check for typographical errors, and confirm whether another Priceline channel or partner was used. If still missing, provide payment details and traveler information through the official support route.
Cancellation button is unavailable
That can mean the fare or rate is restricted, the deadline has passed, the booking is supplier-controlled, or a technical issue is blocking the action. Quote the itinerary wording and ask whether a waiver, credit, or escalation is available; do not assume an exception.
Refund is delayed
Ask which stage applies: approved but unsent, sent by Priceline, pending at the bank, sent through Hyperwallet, denied, or replaced with credit. Request the transaction or case reference and preserve screenshots.

Supplier and Priceline refer you to each other
Ask each party to identify the exact policy clause and responsibility boundary in writing. Keep both reference numbers, then request escalation through the authenticated Priceline route when the booking record or payment must be changed.
Travel starts within 24 hours
Use the airline, hotel, rental counter, or activity operator for immediate operational safety and availability, while opening Priceline chat or the urgent support route for reservation and payment coordination. If stranded, document names, times, receipts, and replacement arrangements.
How to avoid Priceline customer-service scams
- Begin at Priceline.com, the official app, or the link inside your itinerary.
- Do not trust a phone number merely because a search result, forum, PDF, or “official” page displays it.
- Verify the domain before entering booking or payment information.
- Never disclose passwords, full card details, CVV, Social Security numbers, or unnecessary identity documents to an unsolicited caller or chat.
- Be cautious when someone demands gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, remote computer access, or an urgent fee to “release” a refund.
Priceline’s press page at press.priceline.com/contact is for media inquiries and should not be treated as a universal reservation number. The safest contact number, if one is offered, is the one shown inside your authenticated booking flow for the relevant product and region.
Document and escalate the case
- Write a dated timeline with every contact, name, channel, and promised action.
- Save screenshots of terms, prices, errors, supplier notices, and chat exchanges.
- Ask for a case number and written confirmation.
- Request the specific policy clause supporting a denial, fee, credit, or deadline.
- Set a follow-up date based on the agent’s stated processing stage, not a generic internet estimate.
- If a card charge remains unresolved, preserve the evidence and understand the consequences before asking your card issuer about a dispute.
