Both were conditional “effective prices” requiring combinations of discounts, bank benefits and exchange value—not prices every shopper paid.
Is the Croma Independence Day Sale live in 2026?
The matching Croma announcements describe a 2025 promotion that ended on August 17, 2025, across more than 560 stores and online. As of August 18, 2026, no official Croma listing confirms that the same campaign or prices are live again. A page describing an expected 2026 sale is not proof of a current checkout offer.
Check Croma’s live sale page, the exact product listing and your cart before treating any price as current. A product-page discount may also be separate from an Independence Day campaign.

The ₹38,990 figure combined store discounts, coupons, bank cashback and exchange benefits. It was therefore a best-case effective price, not a universal shelf price. Without an eligible phone to exchange, or without the qualifying bank and coupon benefits, the payable amount would be higher.
Online and store mechanics differed
The reported store offer emphasised up to ₹12,500 bank cashback and in-store exchange handling. The online offer listed a ₹2,200 instant discount, up to ₹4,000 on select banks and an online exchange flow. Do not assume that a store benefit transfers to the website, or that every discount can be stacked.

The phone was described with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro processor, dual 50MP rear cameras, a 50MP selfie camera, 5,000mAh battery and 50W charging. The 2025 article also referred to Android 14 at launch and promised updates; current software support should be checked with Nothing before buying.
₹16,999 likewise depended on qualifying benefits. A shopper without an exchange device should start from the ₹20,999 sale price—or whatever current listing shows—then apply only discounts that appear in the live cart.

If the advertised price does not appear
