What to check before ordering the marketplace listing
- Confirm the exact model. The black consumer model identified in the listing is model 910-007560. Do not rely on “MX Master 4” alone: compare the model number and edition.
- Read the condition line. Make sure it says new and factory sealed if that is what you want. Open-box, refurbished and used units should not be priced like new stock.
- Identify the seller. Review feedback, location, handling time and whether the seller is an authorized Logitech channel.

Actions Ring overlay
Through Logi Options+, Actions Ring displays an application-aware shortcut overlay that can be configured for workflows such as Photoshop and Excel. Logitech reports less repetitive mouse movement and faster actions in an Ergo Lab study of 37 users. Those 33% and 63% figures are manufacturer study results, not independent performance measurements or guaranteed personal savings.

Logitech says a new chip and antenna placement make connectivity twice as strong as previous models; that is a Logitech claim rather than an independently verified measurement.

Consumer customization uses Logi Options+. Business deployments can use Logi Tune and Logitech Sync. Downloading Logitech software requires internet access, and the company says its older Firmware Update Tool is no longer maintained; use the current support path instead.

Is $89.99 worth paying?
Buy at $89.99 when
- The unit is genuinely new, authentic and backed by a clear U.S. warranty or strong marketplace protection.
- You want a large ergonomic mouse, horizontal scrolling, multi-device switching and programmable controls.
- Haptics and Actions Ring are useful to your workflow, rather than features you will disable.
- You want the newest MX generation and do not need a compact or ambidextrous design.
Wait or choose another mouse when
- The listing is refurbished or used and priced close to a new unit.
- The seller cannot explain warranty coverage, returns or the included receiver.
- You use a left-handed grip, have small hands or want a travel-sized mouse.
- You only need basic Bluetooth pointing and scrolling or do not want Logitech software.
- You use Linux or another platform where Logitech customization may be less complete.
- You already own an MX Master 3S and do not care about haptics, Actions Ring or Logitech’s newer connectivity claims.
How it compares with the MX Master 3S decision
The MX Master 4 is not simply a renamed 3S: haptics and Actions Ring are the clearest functional additions, alongside Logitech’s connectivity changes. But an existing 3S owner should pay for the upgrade only if those features solve a real problem. No current MX Master 3S price is established here, so compare the live price yourself rather than assuming a particular discount.
For a first-time premium-mouse buyer, $89.99 can be compelling if the listing is new and warranty-backed. For a 3S owner, the value depends more on workflow benefits than on the 25% calculation.

Windows 11 and software caveats
In a May 20, 2026 announcement, Logitech said existing MX Master 4 units could gain native Windows 11 haptic functionality through a firmware update and the latest Windows 11 software, with units shipping in fall 2026 expected to support it out of the box. $89.99 is a real 25% reduction from $119.99 on paper, and it could be an excellent price for a new MX Master 4. The currently identified $89.99 evidence is a marketplace listing last updated June 25, 2026; Logitech’s indexed shop price remains $119.99, while the Best Buy example is an expired October 2025 deal.
