Short answer: the $200 offer and its “expires in 4 hours” countdown are not verified as live. The available indexed Newegg listing for the Yeston GeForce RTX 3050 6GB low-profile card reports it out of stock, with indexed prices ranging from about $245 to $339. Treat $200 as an unconfirmed deal-alert price, not a price you can count on at checkout. If it reappears near $200, it may suit a small-form-factor PC that needs a low-profile card with no external PCIe power connector—but check fit, final cost, and seller terms first.
Is the Newegg $200 deal live?
The listing is for the Yeston GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GDDR6 LP, Newegg Marketplace item 9SIAZUEKD20876. The available indexed listing information identifies Yeston as the seller and reports the item out of stock. Different indexed captures show prices of roughly $245 to $339, not $200. Those captures do not establish the price or inventory you will see when you open the page, so check the listing and cart before deciding. Check the Newegg listing.
The “expires in 4 hours” wording cannot be authenticated from the available listing information. Marketplace timers and inventory can change, and a countdown in a deal alert does not prove the offer remains available or that the selected item is this exact model. Unless checkout confirms the price, stock, and terms, do not budget on the assumption that the $200 offer is still active.
The indexed listing has shown a 30-day return signal and Newegg Marketplace Purchase Protection, but neither establishes the terms for a future order. Before paying, confirm the exact condition, shipping charge, delivery estimate, return window, return-shipping responsibility, warranty, and final total after tax on the live listing.

What you get for the money
The card’s appeal is its combination of low-profile dimensions and no external GPU power connector listed—not a claim that it outperforms full-size cards at the same price. That can matter when an office desktop has limited room or no spare PCIe power lead. The Newegg listing gives these specifications:
| Specification | Listing detail |
|---|---|
| GPU and memory | GeForce RTX 3050; 6GB GDDR6 |
| Memory bus | 96-bit |
| CUDA cores | 2,304 |
| Listed boost clock | 1,470 MHz |
| Interface | PCIe 4.0 x8 in the specification block; the listing title also mentions PCIe 3.0 |
| Display outputs | 1 HDMI 2.1; 1 DisplayPort 1.4a |
| External GPU power | None listed |
| Dimensions | About 160 × 70 × 35 mm with half-height bracket; about 160 × 120 × 35 mm with full-height bracket |
| Seller’s PSU guidance | Above 400W; seller guidance, not a guarantee for every system |
These are listing specifications, not independent test results. The PCIe wording is inconsistent: the title mentions PCIe 3.0, while the specification block says PCIe 4.0 x8. PCIe devices are generally designed for backward-compatible operation, but this listing discrepancy does not establish identical performance on every older platform. Check the exact system and card documentation if PCIe behavior is important to your decision. See the listing specification block.

Will it fit an OptiPlex, EliteDesk, or ThinkCentre?
“Low profile” describes bracket height; it does not guarantee that the card fits every compact desktop. Measure the available space and check the exact PC model’s documentation before ordering. The listed half-height dimensions are about 160 × 70 × 35 mm, but the case must also have enough length and thickness clearance. Confirm whether the package includes the half-height bracket; do not assume it is included based on dimensions alone.
- Confirm the chassis accepts a half-height expansion bracket and that the bracket’s screw position aligns.
- Measure clearance from the rear expansion opening to any drive cage, fan, cable, or other obstruction.
- Check thickness and adjacent-slot clearance, not just card length and bracket height.
- Verify that the motherboard has an available compatible PCIe slot and that the system BIOS supports the card.
- Check case airflow and the power supply’s capacity for the complete computer, including its CPU and other devices.
Dell, HP, and Lenovo systems vary by model and configuration. A card fitting one OptiPlex does not prove compatibility with another. If the fit is uncertain, use the full computer model number to check its service manual, internal layout, and power limits.

Power and cooling: no cable does not mean universal compatibility
The Newegg specifications list no external PCIe power connector, which is useful in prebuilt systems without a spare GPU cable. That does not mean the card will work in every low-wattage PC. The listing’s “above 400W” PSU guidance is the seller’s stated recommendation; it is not a universal minimum or a system-specific compatibility guarantee. Account for the processor, PSU age and quality, proprietary system limits, PCIe slot power, other installed components, and the case’s ability to exhaust heat.
Compact cards and cramped office cases can have less room for airflow than larger gaming towers. Newegg review snippets include one buyer’s “runs hot” complaint as well as positive reports about compactness and system compatibility. These are individual reports, not controlled thermal tests, so they cannot establish a temperature or noise level you should expect. Keep vents clear, remove dust, and monitor temperatures and fan noise during an initial workload; a restrictive chassis may need better airflow.

What performance should you expect?
This is an entry-level RTX 3050 configuration, best considered for 1080p gaming with settings adjusted to the game rather than maximum settings across demanding new releases. Its 6GB of VRAM can be more accommodating than 4GB in some titles, but it does not make the card high-end. Ray tracing can be demanding at this performance level. DLSS may improve playability in supported games, but availability depends on the individual title.
Older office-PC processors can limit performance, and the card’s PCIe 4.0 x8 specification paired with an older PCIe 3.0 platform is another reason not to assume results from one system transfer exactly to another. No reliable model-specific benchmark figures are established here, so a precise frame-rate promise would be misleading. The card’s value is chiefly its fit for a constrained case and power setup, not demonstrated frames per dollar against full-size GPUs.

Marketplace checks before checkout
Because the item is sold through Newegg Marketplace by Yeston, inspect the seller and exact offer rather than assuming the terms of a Newegg-direct purchase. The available indexed listing showed a 4.7 seller rating from 222 seller ratings, but seller feedback and listing details can change. Confirm these points on the offer you are about to buy:
- The selected variant is the Yeston RTX 3050 6GB low-profile card, not another model or memory configuration.
- The condition is explicitly stated and acceptable to you.
- The seller name, warranty terms, return period, return shipping responsibility, and any restocking fee are clear.
- The item is in stock and the total after shipping and tax is close to the advertised amount.
- The listing photos and package details confirm the bracket configuration you need.
Save the order confirmation and listing details, including seller, condition, and return terms. That record can help if the delivered product or marketplace terms differ from what you expected.
Buy at $200, wait, or skip?
Consider buying near $200 if
- You specifically need a low-profile GPU for a small desktop and have verified the card’s dimensions and bracket fit.
- Your system has no practical external GPU power lead, but its overall PSU and chassis are still suitable.
- You want NVIDIA features and accept modest 1080p performance, limited to two listed display outputs.
- The item is new (if that is what you want), in stock, covered by usable return terms, and the final checkout total remains near $200.
Wait or skip if
- The listing remains out of stock or the actual total is closer to the indexed $245–$339 range.
- Your case and power supply can take a full-size card; the Yeston’s compact format may not justify a premium for your system.
- You expect high-refresh 1440p gaming, demanding ray tracing, or more than two display connections.
- Your PC has an especially weak processor, restrictive proprietary power limits, uncertain clearance, or poor airflow.
- The offer is open-box or has unclear warranty and return terms.
If the Yeston offer is unavailable, the manufacturer’s official RTX 3050 6GB product page is a direct-brand place to check availability; a reliable current price is not established here. MSI also lists an RTX 3050 LP 6G OC, but price and exact fit are not established here either. Compare the particular card’s dimensions, bracket, power requirements, warranty, and final price rather than assuming one low-profile RTX 3050 is interchangeable with another.
