Short answer: HP’s EMAIL100 code was a historical $100 discount on selected HP laptops, but its published offer period ended August 1, 2026 (or earlier if supplies ran out). It should not be treated as a working code on September 30, 2026. The April accessory code SETUP25 was also time-limited and separate from the laptop offer.
What the April 2026 $100 HP code covered
HP listed EMAIL100 as a $100-off coupon for selected laptop SKUs. The eligible families named in the promotion included HP Essential, Pavilion, OmniBook 3, OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 7 laptops. Eligibility was determined at the model or SKU level, not simply by choosing any HP laptop.
The published window began April 26, 2026 and ended August 1, 2026, subject to product availability. Because that end date has passed, a checkout that rejects EMAIL100 is consistent with the stated terms rather than evidence that the code was entered incorrectly.
Where it was intended to work
- HP.com purchases made through the internet or mobile site.
- Eligible purchases placed through HP’s call center.
- U.S. transactions meeting the promotion’s store, quantity and redemption conditions.
Major exclusions
The terms excluded printers and supplies, refurbished products, bundles, desktops, monitors, peripherals and accessories, in addition to a long list of excluded laptop models. Instant savings shown on a product page could also affect the final promotion applied at order placement.

April codes at a glance
| Code | Published offer | Dates or status | Products | Important limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EMAIL100 | $100 off | April 26–August 1, 2026, or while supplies lasted; expired by September 30, 2026 | Selected HP Essential, Pavilion, OmniBook 3, OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 7 laptops | Model exclusions; U.S. HP channels; generally not combinable with another promotion |
| SETUP25 | 25% off selected products | April 19–25, 2026; historical promotion | Selected HP, HyperX and Poly accessories and peripherals | Different promotion from the $100 laptop offer; product exclusions applied |
| BTS262MO | Two additional free months of HP Instant Ink | Displayed on HP’s coupon page with enrollment by September 30, 2026; verify current availability | Eligible printers enrolled in Instant Ink | Online enrollment, valid payment card, email and internet-connected printer required; subscription charges begin after the free period unless canceled |
How to check an HP coupon before counting the savings
- Open the exact product listing. Confirm that the laptop’s model or SKU appears among the promotion’s eligible products; a product family name alone is not enough.
- Read the exclusions. Check whether the item is refurbished, bundled, a desktop, monitor, printer, supply, accessory or another excluded category.
- Review the promotion dates. HP offers run only during their stated window or while supplies last and may be changed or canceled.
- Apply the code in the cart. Enter the code in the HP checkout promotion field and confirm that the discount appears before payment.
- Check the final order total. HP validates the applicable promotion when the order is placed. A displayed instant saving may not combine with a coupon, since HP generally permits only one discount type per order.
What if you missed the promotion or coupon?
HP’s coupon FAQ addresses what happens when a shopper misses a promotion: an expired code normally cannot be applied retroactively. Look for a newly dated offer on HP’s coupon or product pages instead of relying on an April code, and verify the terms at checkout because inventory and eligibility can change.
Is the Instant Ink offer a $100 laptop discount?
No. BTS262MO was a service promotion offering two additional free months of HP Instant Ink with qualifying enrollment. It does not reduce the price of a laptop or convert into a $100 merchandise credit. Enrollment required an eligible printer, online registration, a valid payment card, an email address and an internet-connected printer. HP states that a monthly service fee and applicable charges begin after the promotional period unless the subscriber cancels online.

Practical buying decision
- Buying a laptop now: Do not include $100 from EMAIL100 in your budget. Compare the current HP price and any promotion that the cart actually accepts.
- Buying accessories: SETUP25 was an April-only historical deal and does not establish a current discount.
- Considering Instant Ink: Treat the free-month offer as a subscription incentive and calculate the post-promotion monthly cost before enrolling.
- Shopping outside the United States: The cited HP promotion terms were U.S.-only; regional HP stores can have different codes and dates.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
