Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Phandroid reported on January 27, 2026, that Amazon had the OnePlus Pad 3 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $595, down from a stated regular price of $699. That was a $104 saving, or about 15%. The report called it the lowest price seen since launch, but it did not establish a complete price history—and the available information does not confirm that the offer is still live. Treat $595 as a past deal, not a current quote.
What the $595 offer covered
Phandroid’s January 27, 2026 deal report described an Amazon offer on the US OnePlus Pad 3, apparently the 12GB RAM/256GB storage configuration in Storm Blue. It listed $699 as the regular price and said the tablet was reduced to $595. The article did not identify an Amazon listing number or document the seller, product condition, coupon requirements, Prime eligibility, shipping, return terms, warranty coverage, or whether the price applied to every color.
Before buying, confirm those details on the live listing rather than relying on the old headline. Check that the page specifies the Pad 3 and the intended 12GB/256GB configuration, and review the seller, condition, delivery and return terms. The reported US configuration is a Wi-Fi tablet; confirm connectivity on the listing if cellular service matters to you. Do not assume a keyboard, stylus, case, or charger is included unless the listing explicitly says so.
Read Phandroid’s January 27 deal report, or check Amazon’s current OnePlus Pad 3 listings. The Amazon link is a search page, not proof that the historical offer remains available. OnePlus’s US tablet page is another place to check product information.

How strong was the price claim?
The arithmetic is straightforward: $699 minus $595 is $104, and $104 is about 14.9% of $699. The less certain part is “lowest price since launch.” Phandroid reported that $595 matched the lowest price it had seen; its article did not provide a complete historical price chart or establish that this was the lowest price at every retailer, after every coupon, or for every configuration. The careful reading is “lowest observed by Phandroid,” not “definitively the lowest price ever.”
The report also does not specify whether the price required a coupon or another condition, or whether tax and shipping changed the checkout total. Prices and inventory can vary by seller, location, and time. An old deal headline may remain searchable after the offer ends, so check the final checkout price and terms before treating it as a saving.

What the Pad 3 offered at that price
Phandroid listed a 13.2-inch, 3.4K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage for the deal configuration. It also reported a 12,140mAh battery, 80W fast charging, eight speakers with Dolby Atmos, an aluminum body, and a thickness of about 5.97mm. These are specifications reported in that January article, not a battery-runtime or performance test.
That hardware makes the Pad 3 a plausible choice for large-screen browsing, streaming, games, and Android multitasking. A 144Hz display can make supported motion appear smoother, while the large screen and speaker array suit video and split-screen use. The reported battery capacity alone does not establish how long it lasts in your mix of gaming, brightness, and connectivity. Likewise, the 80W rating is not a measured charge time.

At 256GB, storage may be ample for everyday apps and streaming, but downloaded games and video can consume space quickly. Consider your offline-library needs before buying; the deal report does not establish the storage expansion options for the exact US listing.
Who should consider it—and who may want another tablet
It may suit performance-focused Android buyers
- You want a large display for media, browsing, games, or multitasking.
- You prefer Android and do not rely on iPad-only apps or workflows.
- You are comfortable with Wi-Fi-only use and have checked what accessories are included.
Look elsewhere if your software or connectivity needs are specific
- If you need cellular connectivity, confirm that the exact model offers it; the reported US deal configuration was presented as a Wi-Fi tablet.
- If your work depends on iPadOS apps, Apple Pencil workflows, or Apple-device integration, an iPad may be a better system fit even if its tablet-only price is higher.
- If you depend on a particular keyboard, stylus, or professional app, verify compatibility and total cost before treating the tablet’s sale price as the cost of a complete setup.
- If you need a mature productivity ecosystem or already use Samsung devices, compare the current Galaxy Tab S-series model and its accessories with the Pad 3 before deciding.
Compare total cost, not just the tablet price
The January deal report compared the Pad 3 with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 Plus at a stated $824, but that was a point-in-time comparison and is not a current price guide. Current model names, availability, and prices can change. Check the Samsung Galaxy Tab S-series page and Apple’s iPad page for current options rather than relying on that older price comparison.

- Immersive 2.8K Display: Features a 12.1-inch screen with a 2.8K resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and Dolby Vision support. The 7:5 aspect ratio is designed for comfortable reading and note-taking.
- Long Battery Life: A large 10050mAh battery provides up to 53 hours of music playback or 15 hours of video playback. Standby time can reach up to 60 days, and it supports 33W SUPERVOOC Super Flash Charge for long-lasting battery life and rapid charging.
- Efficient Multitasking & Notes: Open Canvas feature supports up to 3 app windows simultaneously. The Stylo pen (not included) offers a low-latency writing experience with 4,096 pressure levels for natural note-taking and sketching.
- Seamless Cross-Device Sharing: Designed to easily share files and sync content between OnePlus phones, tablets, and other Android/iOS devices using features like Quick Share and App Relay for a connected workflow.
- AI-Powered Productivity Tools: Integrated with OnePlus AI and Google Gemini, offering features like AI Recorder for transcription, AI Summary for articles, and Circle to Search for quick information lookup to help streamline tasks.
For a fair comparison, match storage and screen size where possible, then add any keyboard, stylus, case, or other accessory you actually need. Samsung may make more sense if you value its device ecosystem and productivity features; an iPad may be preferable for iPadOS-dependent creative work. The Pad 3’s appeal is strongest for someone who wants its large, high-refresh-rate Android hardware without paying flagship-tablet pricing. These are use-case distinctions, not claims that one tablet is universally better.
The OnePlus Pad 2 is another candidate if its current price is substantially lower and its performance is sufficient for your needs. Phandroid characterized the Pad 3 as a major upgrade and gave the Pad 2’s launch price as $549, but that does not establish the Pad 2’s current street price. Compare live offers before deciding that the newer model is automatically the better value.

- At $595 or less for the verified new 12GB/256GB model: It is a compelling price relative to the report’s $699 reference price if the seller, warranty, return terms, and final checkout total work for you.
- Around $699: The historical discount is no longer the reason to buy. Compare current Pad 2, Samsung, and iPad offers, including the accessories you need.
- Above $699: Recheck the competing tablets and newer models available at that time; the January deal does not justify paying more now.
- Used or renewed: Compare the savings with the seller’s return policy, condition description, and warranty coverage. The $595 report concerned an Amazon offer but did not document whether it was new stock or specify those protections.
The offer is most persuasive for an Android buyer who values screen size and performance and can use the tablet without costly add-ons. If any critical listing detail is unclear, wait until the exact model, seller, condition, and checkout total are confirmed rather than relying on the archived deal claim.
