Where to Buy AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070: Best US and UK Retailers to Check

Stock is easier to find, but the best RX 9070 XT or RX 9070 deal depends on retailer, seller, country, board design, and final checkout price.

Best first checks: US shoppers should start with Best Buy, Newegg, and Micro Center. UK shoppers should check Overclockers UK, Scan, and Currys.

Both Radeon cards are substantially easier to find than they were at launch, but stock, seller, delivery date, and price can change quickly. The examples below are retailer and price-watch snapshots observed around August 14–18, 2026—not guaranteed prices or nationwide stock.

AMD’s launch starting prices were $599 for the RX 9070 XT and $549 for the RX 9070. A current price above those figures may be reasonable for a better cooler or premium design, but only if the extra cost matches what you value.

Quick retailer verdict

Country Retailer Best for Availability notes Marketplace risk
US Best Buy Mainstream ordering, delivery, pickup ZIP-code and store dependent Check seller on each listing
US Newegg Broadest model selection Many board partners and price tiers High; verify “sold and shipped by”
US Micro Center Local pickup Store-specific and often in-store only Low for direct store stock
UK Overclockers UK Specialist selection and pricing VAT-inclusive listings; dispatch status varies Usually direct retailer stock
UK Scan Filtering and price comparison Check the exact availability label Usually direct retailer stock
UK Currys National delivery and collection Postcode and store dependent Confirm seller and model

Stock should be treated as a timestamped snapshot. A product page is not proof of availability until the card can be added to the basket, the delivery or collection promise is clear, and checkout produces an order confirmation.

US retailers

Best Buy

Best Buy is the simplest first stop for buyers who want a large national retailer, online ordering, delivery, or possible store pickup. Its RX 9070 XT results showed several models around $779.99–$839.99, with premium versions near $900. US prices generally exclude applicable sales tax until the retailer calculates it for the delivery address.

Availability depends on ZIP code and selected store. Check whether the listing is sold directly by Best Buy or by a third party, and compare the final delivery date and return terms.

Newegg

Newegg usually offers the widest selection of Sapphire, PowerColor, ASRock, XFX, Gigabyte, ASUS, and other board partners. A retailer comparison found RX 9070 XT examples from roughly $599.99 to about $800, while RX 9070 listings ranged from approximately $549.99 to more than $700.

The price spread often reflects the card design, not a different GPU generation. Before ordering, check that the card is new, identify the actual seller, and read the seller’s return and warranty arrangements.

Micro Center

Micro Center can be the best option for a shopper who lives near one of its stores. Its Radeon 9000 page can show a specific store’s quantity, price, purchase limit, and whether the product is in-store only. One observed listing showed 13 PowerColor RX 9070 XT cards at a Westbury store for $849.99, but that is a store-specific snapshot, not a national price.

Select your nearest store before relying on the result. Confirm the quantity and collection rules before travelling; “in stock” at one location does not mean available elsewhere or eligible for shipping.

Amazon US

Amazon is convenient when the card is sold by Amazon or a clearly established seller with an eligible return policy. It can also receive restocks at different times from component specialists.

Do not choose solely by the lowest visible price. Check “sold by,” “shipped by,” product condition, delivery date, warranty coverage, and the seller’s feedback. An unfamiliar marketplace listing can carry a high price or unclear support.

Walmart

Walmart is worth checking as a comparison point. A recent price check showed an RX 9070 XT example around $719.99, but the final offer may be from a marketplace seller. Compare shipping, tax, seller identity, and returns rather than relying on Walmart branding alone.

B&H Photo Video

B&H is an established specialist retailer with detailed product information and premium board-partner models. However, a retailer comparison listed several RX 9070 XT cards from about $899.99 to more than $1,000. Check whether a listing is actually in stock or only available for preorder, and compare the price with Best Buy, Newegg, and Micro Center.

UK retailers

Overclockers UK

Overclockers UK is the strongest first check for selection. Observed listings included RX 9070 cards around £589.99–£599.99 and RX 9070 XT cards around £679.99–£719.99, with premium models reaching roughly £800. These listings are presented with VAT included; delivery charges can still change the effective cost.

Read the exact stock wording. “In stock” may not always mean that every configuration is immediately dispatch-ready, so confirm the expected dispatch date and warranty process.

Scan

Scan is useful for comparing board partners, prices, dimensions, and availability labels in one place. Check the specific model page rather than assuming every RX 9070-series result has the same delivery status.

Currys

Currys offers a convenient national delivery and, for some products, store-collection route. Selection can be narrower than at specialist retailers, and store availability varies by postcode. Confirm the exact partner model, cooler size, delivery promise, and return terms.

CCL, Ebuyer, Amazon UK, and AWD-IT

CCL and Ebuyer are useful additional checks when larger retailers are sold out. Amazon UK can offer convenient delivery, but verify whether Amazon or a third party is selling the card. AWD-IT is another specialist source worth checking for board-partner stock.

A recent UK comparison found RX 9070 XT examples around £649.99 at Overclockers, £699.98 at Scan, and £699.99 at Currys. Treat these as observed snapshots and verify VAT, delivery, seller identity, and checkout total.

RX 9070 vs RX 9070 XT

Specification RX 9070 XT RX 9070
Architecture RDNA 4 RDNA 4
Memory 16GB GDDR6, 256-bit 16GB GDDR6, 256-bit
Stream processors 4,096 3,584
Compute units 64 56
Launch starting price $599 $549

The RX 9070 XT is the performance choice for high-refresh 1440p, entry-level or moderate 4K gaming, and more demanding ray-tracing workloads. AMD’s reference specification lists up to a 2,970MHz boost clock, 304W total board power, and a recommended 750W PSU, although add-in-board cards can differ.

The RX 9070 is the value-oriented choice when you mainly play at 1440p, want lower power consumption, or find it close to its $549 starting price while XT models are inflated. It is not automatically better value: a premium RX 9070 priced near a sensibly priced XT can be the worse purchase.

Use the actual price gap as the deciding factor. Buy the RX 9070 when its discount is meaningful for your budget and performance target. Move to the XT when the gap is modest, you have a suitable PSU and case, and you value higher frame rates or longer performance headroom.

Which board partner should you choose?

Cards from Sapphire, PowerColor, XFX, ASUS, ASRock, Gigabyte, and other partners use the same GPU class, but their coolers, clocks, dimensions, power requirements, noise characteristics, warranty handling, and prices differ.

  • Best value: a mainstream or reference-style card with adequate cooling and a clear warranty.
  • Quietest or coolest: a large triple-fan design, provided your case has sufficient clearance.
  • Compact build: the shortest card that meets your performance and cooling needs; verify dimensions rather than relying on the GPU name.
  • Premium build: a higher-end model can justify extra cost for acoustics, heatsink quality, appearance, or power delivery, but a factory overclock alone rarely justifies a large premium.
  • White build: expect an aesthetic premium with no proportional gaming benefit.

Compatibility and listing checklist

  1. Confirm the listing says RX 9070 or RX 9070 XT—not RX 7900 XT, RX 9070 GRE, RX 9060 XT, or a desktop containing one.
  2. Record the exact board-partner model and open its manufacturer specification page.
  3. Measure maximum GPU length, slot thickness, side-panel clearance, front-radiator interference, and power-connector clearance.
  4. Check the exact card’s PSU recommendation and required PCIe power leads. The reference XT recommendation is 750W, but partner cards vary.
  5. Verify DisplayPort and HDMI outputs if you use multiple high-resolution or high-refresh monitors.
  6. Check whether the item is new, open-box, refurbished, or used.
  7. Read the retailer’s current return policy and identify whether warranty claims go to the retailer, board partner, or distributor.
  8. Compare the complete checkout total. US prices normally exclude sales tax; UK prices generally include VAT, while delivery charges may still apply.
  9. Confirm that the card can be added to the basket and that an order confirmation is generated.

How to interpret stock labels

“In stock” is meaningful only when the item is orderable and the delivery or collection date is clear. A page may remain visible when the cart button is disabled, stock is allocated to one store, the item is a preorder, or warehouse inventory has not synchronized.

Separate direct retailer stock from marketplace stock, preorders, backorders, used or refurbished inventory, and imported cards with uncertain warranty coverage. On Amazon, Walmart, and Newegg, always inspect the seller fields.

Price trackers, wishlists, email alerts, and browser notifications can help, but alerts may arrive after stock disappears. They are useful prompts—not guarantees of a successful order.

Buy now or wait?

Use AMD’s $599 XT and $549 RX 9070 launch starting prices as reference points, not promises of current availability. In the observed US snapshot, RX 9070 XT examples were about $719.99–$739.99. In the UK, examples were roughly £649.99–£699.99, with Overclockers showing some RX 9070 cards near £590–£600 and XT models around £680–£720.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Buying now makes more sense when the card is from a reputable direct retailer, the final price is close to comparable offers, and you need the hardware. Waiting is sensible when only marketplace sellers remain, the premium over a comparable model is large, or a nearby retailer shows a likely restock. Check again immediately before publication or purchase because these figures are not live guarantees.

What to do if the card sells out at checkout

  1. Do not substitute a much more expensive marketplace listing without checking the seller and warranty.
  2. Search the exact model number at the next retailer rather than only searching “RX 9070 XT.”
  3. Check local-store inventory separately, especially at Micro Center or Currys.
  4. Recheck delivery charges and the final total after changing retailers.
  5. Use retailer alerts, but keep a reasonable target price and do not let urgency override compatibility or return checks.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
